The cabin is secluded which made it great for a quick weekend getaway- if you plan on going in and out to hike, eat, etc. I would suggest looking for something closer to town. The house definitely needed a good cleaning - nothing crazy but it would have been nice if the cob webs had been knocked down and the dishes cleaned better. Overall we enjoyed our stay. I should note that we struggled to make it up the gravel hill to the house in my Ford Explorer so take that into account before you book.

We loved the cabin and the layout was perfect for what our family needed and great quality! I do recommend arriving during daylight hours because it is a bit hard to find. The downstairs pull out couch is very uncomfortable so I would definitely bring an air mattress next time. The place to get breakfast right around the corner is awesome called Van Zandts!

The cabin was beautiful and well kept. However, the heater broke down and it was very cold, we called the local number and they knew there was a problem since they had already ordered the part, well somebody should had told us since we had small children and it was very cold. Thank God for the chimney and the electric heater in the basement. Also, it was not easy getting finding the cabin since there are no posted number for the cabin and the name of the cabin is written in very small letters on a sign. Also, the road to get to it was very muddy it needed more gravel since our car almost got stock in the mud. Beside that everything was good.
We appreciate this guest sharing their perspective with us. The heater has been fixed and we have passed along these suggestions to the local team. Thanks!
