House is beautifully located, at the edge of the of the grasslands and beach that make Gearhart unique. The classic shingle style home, multiple living rooms and two sun rooms, are all connected to these views. We had all our kids here and yet there was room for us to spread and relax and feel you had the place to yourself. A classic beach house, in style, comfort and unparalleled views of the ocean. Will definitely be coming back.

Our annual girlfriends' trip to the beach was great. The house was spacious and quite clean. The only issue we all had was that the 3 "queen" beds are actually 54" wide doubles. It was fine for all of us as we each had our own rooms but we talked about not being able to come back with our husbands b/c of the size of the beds.
On the great side was the lovely view of the dunes and the comfortable seating areas. We would definitely like to go back.

The location is great. We watched a heard of elk almost everyday make its way out towards the beach. The house is very comfortable. Beds are also comfortable we were all curious about the upstairs as it’s not accessible to guests. Plenty of towels and blankets. Lots of hot water. Fun old fashioned tub/shower at end of hall and beautiful walk in modern shower in master bedroom. We had great weather too. We would rent this home again

The architecture of the house was upscale vintage beach house classy. The sheets and towels were abundant. The kitchen was pleasant to the eye and convenient. The deck was large adding lots of outdoor space to relax. We saw about 48 Elk wander through the dunes between the house and the ocean at 10:30 AM on August 11th, 30 mins. before checkout.

The house is spacious and has a great location near the beach and downtown Gearhart. It is all on one level with a handicap accessible shower, which worked great for the grandparents on our trip.

This is a wonderful family house. I would recommend it for a family. The house is well equipped and had plenty of space.

Great stay! The perfect old beach house with charming original features. Spacious floor plan with multiple living spaces, massive cobblestone fireplace and glorious sun porch for morning coffee and evening wine. Went with 2 small toddlers, single level was perfect. Didn’t want to leave, can’t wait to go back.

So much room! Separate living rooms to separate sunrooms. Kitchen was smaller but 2 sinks and 2 dishwashers for easy cleaning. Bedrooms were nice with each having their own in room sink and a master bedroom with full handicap bathroom shower. You don’t get the upstairs. Huge basement for exploring if you dare!!! Lol. the kids told me there was a ghost. There wasn’t. They just like to scare me. Plenty of parking and trails to the beach. It did have an old house smell, but was super clean! We had a great time!!!

Everything was put together so well. Literally the only thing missing was the WiFi password in the welcome packet upon arrival. It wasn’t a big deal because I was able to find the email after some digging. Love this home.

We loved this charming, cozy Gearhart beach house. It’s comfortable and clean, and was the perfect place for our family reunion. The kitchen is well stocked, and there are multiple spaces to relax, including family room, living room with gorgeous river rock fireplace and game table. For those who needed a little more quiet time away from the extended family, there is a comfortable sun porch facing the ocean with an expansive view of the dunes. The house has a well maintained private path to the beach- extremely important for beach access for our 85 year old matriarch! There is also an expansive deck with a gas grill. We will definitely be back!

We loved almost everything about the house. It’s full of character and big enough that we didn’t get on one another’s nerves while trapped inside by driving wind and rain(3 teens and two parents). A little disappointed that the upstairs was not included in the rental, since the listing showed an upstairs bedroom with an ocean view. You can hear, but not see, the waves from downstairs. There were the advertised 4 bedrooms downstairs, so technically not false advertising.
It was clean and well stocked. Plenty of pans to cook Thanksgiving dinner, and the double oven was super handy for that!
It’s very private and quiet, and about 200 yards to the top of the dunes to see the beach. We will definitely return!
