If you’re looking for a large, luxurious space with stunning views of the city, this is the place for you! So many downtown hotels offer limited space for a huge price tag, but Park West Apartments give you ample room (I rented a 2 bed, 2 bath) with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the cityscape. Renting this apartment during my vacation was the best decision I made!!

A wonderful master suite with ample closet space. Beautifully furnished and amazing beds/pillows. Excellent building security with a quiet atmosphere. It's right downtown next to the rail, so be realistic and expect the sounds of the city nightlife. Also, in the summer, remember to close the curtains when you leave for the day or you'll return to a warm room—those giant windows have such a beatiful view of the city!

We are from Portland and chose this spot for a staycation- anyone wanting a great place to explore the city from would choose well with this rental! It is one block in all directions from our favorite shopping spots, restaurants, and most loved parks in Portland. It felt like staying in an upscale hotel, except with the full amenities of a home!

Loved the floor to ceiling windows! Having shopping and restaurants within a block is a plus! We walked pretty much everywhere!

In the heart of DT Portland, next to Nordstrom. Cheep weekend parking under building. Close to food, shopping, night life!

Lovely view, comfy beds, clean (except for food in the pullout couch!) and well laid out. Instructions for the confusing tv set up would have been helpful tho:)

The place was clean and welcoming. I loved the decorations. The master bedroom's bathroom had a picture of a horse on the wall, The horse has a huge smile on its face. I loved the picture it really made my week. I would love to come back and stay longer.

The Metallic Pearl at Park Avenue West not only offers great views and a cozy, modern interior, but it's located just a short walk away from the waterfront and is surrounded by great places to eat, drink, and explore. Additionally, checking in and out is a breeze with the automated system provided by Vacasa.

We left behind a phone charger, and once we contacted the property manager, we were able to retrieve it easily and with no problems.

Apartment was immaculate and building security gave a peace of mind. Looked forward to coming back each night.

Where to begin? The place is actually the heart of downtown with floor to ceiling windows...great space and a great location. But our internet was down, there was no cable -- sounds like the owner does not pay the bills -- and dealing with the company managing the unit (Vacasa) was a real hassle. For the price you would expect a seamless stay, with wifi, cable/satellite, ice trays, tissues, etc. No dice. I think there's better value out there, for sure.
Manager response:
We are sorry to see our guest was inconvenience by some technical difficulties. We had to get the internet and cable provider out to the unit to rectify the issue. We did upgrade the cable during this process. We have added ice trays to the home at this guest's suggestion and hope to see them again. Thank you!

Nice stay.
* management was top notch
* location was great
* nice urban setting and nice lighting
Only a few improvements for 5 stars.
* entertainment system - no cable - crappy TV and remote
* no rudimentary kitchen spices, condiments

My stay was incredible. Plenty of space with two large bedrooms (one with ensuite bath) and real nice full kitchen. Laundry inside the unit helped out a lot too! It’s centrally located to do just about anything downtown Portland but it was also great being right next to the MAX ($2.50 each way to and from the airport!). Really enjoyed it- you can’t go wrong staying here.
