Our family loved the little caboose. It had everything we needed even though small. The kids had a great time here.

Loved this caboose so much I want one now! They did a top notch job making this super cute and comfortable. From the minute we entered i was in caboose love. Wood floors, nice linens, enough beds for a large family (5), refrigerator to store your food for those cookouts and long stays, and the BUNK BEDS! We fought over which of us (the parents) got the second bunk since of course our son got first choice. (We took turns) Super cozy beds and linens. Wish we had more time, and better weather, to enjoy the great wooden deck with vintage table. Even the details were perfect, like little lights and shelving spots by the beds, cute wooden crates on the walls with books, and my spouse particularly liked the bear spray! Sadly, we didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked to. Would love to make a return trip, and next time we'll do the Amtrak that conveniently runs behind the caboose, with a cute station right there! Yes, the caboose is basically on the tracks (right next to it) but it was no problem, only heard the rumble as it went by, no whistle, and as i love trains it was part of the fun. It was also conveniently a short 2 minute stroll to an historic Inn (also next to the train station) where we had several wonderful meals. The food was the best we had on the trip. My spouse says you must get their breakfast potatoes, none better. And the French toast was amazing....ok this is supposed to be about the caboose. Anyway, it was awesome.
PS- be careful with the shower knob, kind of touchy.
