Dock, deck, & hot tub; windsurf on the lake!

This beautiful lakefront Langlois vacation rental has a spectacular location on Floras Lake and plenty of room for up to 8 guests. With a new hot tub, full kitchen, private boat dock, and a welcoming atmosphere, your family will feel right at home here and ready for a wonderful Southern Oregon Coast adventure.

This home is located right on Floras Lake, so when you stay here you can enjoy both the nearby beach and the lake, which is a famously great place for kite boarding. The nearest city is the small community of Langlois, which is about 10 minutes away and has a great little market, though Port Orford is just 20 minutes to the south, and the larger Bandon is a scenic 25-minute drive north.

This three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom home is a perfect place to spend a relaxing vacation with your loved ones. Have a seat in the living room and admire the view of the lake, sit and chat with your guests, and sip some wine or cocoa while the wood-burning fireplace keeps the space extra cozy. Here you can grab a book from the well-stocked shelves or access the free WiFi to keep in touch or check your email.

Next to the living room is a dining room table with space for eight guests. Beyond that is a gorgeous full kitchen, stocked with all the appliances and cooking tools you may need to prepare any type of meal. With plenty of counter space, a mixer, blender, and even a double convection oven, the cook in your group will have no trouble whipping up anything from a simple pancake breakfast to a full Sunday roast dinner.

In the upstairs living room, the 70' TV is equipped with Netflix streaming, as well as DVD players. You're welcome to use the library of DVDs and board games provided, too.

For even more fun, there is a game room with a pool table! Go ahead and organize a friendly tournament and spend any rainy evenings playing here or watching movies in this warm and cozy home. When you want to relax, just soak in the private hot tub.

When it's time to head to bed, you will have your choice of three bedrooms. Two rooms on the main floor feature lovely king size beds. A main floor master bedroom has a king-size bed and a lovely en-suite bathroom. On the lower level, you’ll find two more bedrooms, both with king beds. One of those bedrooms has a wood fireplace, ensuite bathroom, queen sofa bed, and sliding door to hot tub. Up to 8 guests will have places to sleep soundly and rest up for another day of exploring the lake.

If you head outside you will find two wonderful decks where you will love to spend time or head out to the hot tub. Sit at the table on the covered portion of the deck and use the gas grill to cook up a tasty dinner of steak and grilled veggies then eat outside in the fresh air while the lights give your meal a festive atmosphere.

You can also walk along the deck and admire the sun shimmering off the water, or watch any boaters who may be on the lake. If you prefer to be more active, walk down the private dock and take a swim in the lake, or bring along your boats to explore the below-sea-level Floras Lake.

With the lake so close, you will want to spend your trip soaking in the sunshine, playing in the shallows, or maybe even kiteboarding around. Just north along the lake is a business that offers windsurfing and kite boarding rentals and lessons. You could also boat over to the west side of the lake and take a nice long stroll on the sandy beach while surrounded by the sights and sounds of the majestic Pacific Ocean!

In Langlois itself you will discover a very small town with notorious market. The Langlois Market is well known as an eclectic place where you can stock up on basic groceries, grab a quick hot dog, or order a grass-fed burger and micro-brew. If you drive about 20 minutes south, you will reach the wonderful Capo Blanco State Park, which offers camping areas, picnicking spots, a lighthouse, and plenty of scenic trails that will take you around the gorgeous landscape.

When you feel like heading into a slightly larger coastal town, drive south to Port Orford. There you can have a fine meal at Redfish or fish and chips at The Crazy Norwegian, and stroll along the gorgeous stretch of coastline that passes right by downtown. If you drive north, instead, you will find yourself in lovely Bandon. Take a daytrip there and go horseback riding on the beach, walk along the downtown boardwalk, have a lovely lunch of fresh pasta at Alloro Restaurant, then check out the locally made candy at Cranberry Sweets or Coastal Mist.

After you explore the surrounding towns, return to your comfortable lakefront Southern Oregon Coast vacation rental and play a game of pool, and enjoy your stay!

the house was great, view was wonderful! enjoyed playing pool and was nice to get in the hot tub before bed! we noticed when we got there, there wasn't enough toilet tissue or paper towels, we called Gloria, the hosekeeper and she was very nice about bringing us some. We all had a very nice and relaxing time! One suggestion though, in the winter, maybe have some dry wood available to have a fire in the fireplace! all in all, a very nice expierence!

We enjoyed this home a great deal. It was well supplied with utensils and cookware. The views of the lake were exceptional. The pool table and hot tub were great additional activities especially during the winter.

We had unseasonably clear and spectacular weather including a non-windy beach weekend. With the views of the lake and the local wildlife this place would make a wonderful family gathering place in any season.

We loved the house, very beautiful. However we rented the place because it had a hot tub, when arriving hot tub was not working. We called rental company vacasa they wouldn't call back had to call multiple times finally manager called said he would be out to fix it or at least look at it never showed never called. So unfortunately no hot tub all weekend long. Also the ceiling was leaking from bathroom upstairs, there was cob webs all over and the kitchen had very dull knifes and no blender. I think the house over all is great, nice beds and a beautiful view.
Manager response:
We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review with us and would like to apologize that the hot tub was not addressed during your stay. The Property Manager is actively working on a solution for the hot tub and will inspect the leak as well. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

Being able to reconnect with distant friends in such a beautiful and tranquil place was an irreplaceable experience. The house was gorgeous and there was more than enough room for 12 people. Accommodations were cozy and very clean, kitchen is well stocked with spices and cookware, and the gorgeous property is very well maintained. Definitely making this an annual trip.

We loved our stay at this property. The house was beautiful and homey with great views of the lake from most rooms. We enjoyed swimming and paddling in the lake, fishing off our private dock, sitting on the lovely deck, playing pool, and also seeing the sights around Langlois and Bandon. There was plenty of room for four adults and two pre-teens to spread out (the two TVs and downstairs family room were ideal!) The house is spacious, comfy, and relaxed. Lake was chilly and breezy some days but we also got a few warmer days too. We can't wait to come back!

As we arrived at this property, we were a bit confused because it looked so much smaller than the photos online, we thought we were in the wrong place! Once we walked in a wonderful scent greeted us that reminded us of old cabins and the coast. When we walked outback a crane took off from the property which was magnificent. The views are incredible! The property is dated but well maintained. The hot tub is listed as a four person but is really more like a two person (two lounge chairs) so we didn't utilize it as often as we would have liked. Lots of kitchen gadgets! Found one fishing pole, another would be helpful. Updated board games would be great as well. . The bedding is comfortable but the beds were a bit old (or seem to be). All minor things and we still fully enjoyed the property. We would definitely come back. Hopefully when it's warmer so that we can swim in the lake!

I loved staying at this property. It was a great experience. The home was clean and we did not have any complaints at all. We relaxed all weekend, went fishing, cooked, hung out with the family and we just really had a good time. Thank you Vacasa for recommending this place!
Manager response:
