Stayed here with a group of friends. The house was comfortable and roomy for all of us. People are not allowed to go to water/shore without a boat so we just enjoyed the view from the spacious front deck. Had run of out of propane for the grill but called and someone came to replace it quickly. As others have mentioned water pressure is low, but it's not a deal breaker. Had a wonderful time staying at the cottage and visiting nearby Acadia and Bar Harbor. Thank you!

This home was quiet and well maintained. The views were classic coastal Maine. If you have pets or aren't allergic I can highly recommend this property. If you are allergic to pets/dogs don't stay here. It's clean, but I had a terrible reaction to the upholstered furniture and the throw rugs on the main level.

We had a fantastic stay at Gull Cottage. We had two families- 5 kids and 4 adults. The house had plenty of privacy to accommodate us all. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We brought our bikes and enjoyed riding down to Marlborough Beach for rock skipping and kayaking. We used the kayaks provided at the cottage (the hosts were wonderful giving us a walk thru of the kayaks and safety recommendations for the Bay). The small beach in front of the house was fun for crab catching and star gazing. We also enjoyed the local pond for warmer swimming options (3miles away). Bar Harbor was a pleasant 30 minute ride away. We enjoyed many of the hikes in the park and the great restaurants and ice cream spots downtown. The week went fast, leaving us all wishing to stay a little longer. It was the perfect vacation, enjoyed by all!!

Beautiful, well-appointed home! Very comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, and breathtaking views over the bay. There was plenty of room for our group of 11 people and the perfect venue for our family vacation. Paul and Barry thought of everything you could possibly need to enjoy a week in Maine and they are a fantastic resource to help with the local area. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

It was a beautiful house and furnishings. Paula and Barry were wonderful hosts, that were right there with any questions we needed answered. They also suggested places to eat and visit. All in all, a great place to stay and visit.
