This place was awesome and unique. The ten beds were extremely important to us as we needed to sleep ten grown men and wanted to avoid having to share beds. All of the beds were comfortable and equipped with pillows and blankets. The common areas were big and useful and allowed us to play plenty of board games and poker on the tables and floors. We even were able to watch some NBA playoff basketball on the TV in the living room. The firepit in the back and the grill on the deck were great and we were able to enjoy barbecue and smores respectively. The BIGGEST complaint was that the refrigerator and freezer were essentially inoperable. When we first arrived we bought 5-6 Ben & Jerry's cartons and by that very same night, the ice cream was all soup and inedible. We had also bought plenty of meat and milk and we did not want to lose further things so we also had to buy a lot of ice to keep our items cold or frozen. We were able to call Vacasa and they offered to send maintenance over but by that point we had already lost the ice cream and purchased tremendous amounts of ice so we just dealt with it as best as we could. While not having an operable refrigerator and freezer was certainly annoying and wasteful, we did not let that issue keep us from enjoying the cabin overall. One side note - the cabin is located very close to neighbors so if you are loud, you risk having a noise complaint filed.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Ronald! We are so happy to hear that the layout, comfort of the beds, and amenities were suitable for your party. However, we regret to hear that the condition of the refrigerator caused some major difficulties during your stay. While we truly appreciate you reaching out to us to bring this issue to our attention, we wish to have had the opportunity to make things right during your visit. Since your departure, the owner has purchased a replacement refrigerator to prevent this incident from reoccurring. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future!

The house was clean and exactly as advertised. Great hiking trails right up the road. Lots of games and books to read . Super comfortable

The cabin was so inviting-comfortable decor. Kitchen well stocked.

We enjoyed staying in this log house, nicely maintained clean home close to hiking trails and lots of other outdoors possibilities. Since the home doesn’t have central AC, one room for improvement is to include Fans in all sleeping rooms (we found 2, needed 4). Overall, I’d go back, recommend this home to others

We enjoyed our stay in this home. Spent time skiing at Bromley which was right down the rode. House had everything needed & was clean & comfortable. Kids loved the upstairs bedroom.

Great location for skiing at Bromley and Stratton. Comfy with modern appliances and fresh linens. Has many beds at floor level which is good for a large group. Close to Route 7 which is convenient but noisy. Very clean and well-kept.

This house was much bigger than expected and it was so nice/fun! Definitely would recommend to a friend and stay there again. It’s roughly 40 minutes from mount snow and 15/20 to Stratton but either way worth the stay!
