Recent Kalispell vacation rental reviews

I was here on a 2 week work trip and it was perfect. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils, and even spices to cook meals. The WiFi was fast and all the smart TVs made it easy to get on Hulu or Netflix for down time. The furniture was cozy and I liked the beds. Very quiet area kinda out of town so it felt supper private but close enough to run to Walmart real quick. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will look for this one again when I come back to Kalispell.

This was quaint & cozy. Perfect for a couple. Lots on nice amenities… just off a busy road, yet that didn’t disturb at all - Given it was winter and we spent no time outside on the property. We have family in the area and plan on coming again!

Where is Kalispell, MT?

Located in the Flathead Valley, Kalispell – Salish for “flat land above the lakes" – lies 15 miles south of the mountain town, Whitefish and 25 miles north of Flathead Lake and its quaint lakefront communities like Somers, gorgeous Lakeside, and quiet Rollins. Kalispell is also a prime jumping off point for adventures in Glacier National Park, beginning at the park’s West Glacier entrance 25 miles northeast.

Things to do in Kalispell, MT

Surrounded by the Flathead National Forest, Kalispell boasts myriad options for exploring outdoors. Just five miles west of downtown, Lone Pine State Park offers hiking and mountain biking trails, horseback riding, and snowshoeing during the winter. Pause at the top of the Ernest and Hazel White Memorial Trail any time of the year for breathtaking, panoramic views of the Flathead Valley framed by the Swan Range and the soaring peaks of Glacier National Park on the horizon.

Enjoy rod-bending trout fishing on the Flathead River, work on your swings at the scenic Buffalo Hill Golf Course, or head out with any of the area’s numerous outdoor guide companies that’ll have you exploring the valley by land, air, and water. Our comfortable vacation rentals take the guesswork out of lodging, freeing you up to focus on local activities and attractions.

History buffs will find their fill of Old West charm in historic downtown Kalispell. Pick up a downtown walking tour map along Main Street to learn about the area’s turn-of-the-nineteenth-century roots while strolling past hundred-year-old buildings currently housing sports bars, western boutiques, and delicious restaurants. Just east of downtown, the Conrad Mansion Museum, a home originally built in 1895 and turned into a museum in 1974, is also a worthwhile stop for a fascinating look at how the town’s founders lived.
