This clean and contemporary, two-bedroom Seaside vacation rental has everything you'll need for a memorable trip to the Oregon Coast! You're right by the Necanicum River and will be treated to lovely river views from this beach-ambiance filled getaway.
This upper-level condo is on the west side of Highway 101, right on the river. From here, the ocean beach is also just a pleasant three-block stroll away. You can also walk to the 12th Avenue Bridge for fishing and crabbing, the Seaside Carousel Mall, and the factory outlet center for a little shopping. Stroll to the Prom and the Convention Center - Holden's Post is right near it all!
The roomy living room is a bright space for relaxing or watching a movie on the flatscreen TV. You'll have a Blu-ray player, Netflix streaming, free WiFi, a PlayStation, and even a selection of movies. There are pops of color from the ocean-themed art on the walls and bright red throw pillows. Sliding glass doors between the living and dining areas lead out to the balcony, where you can enjoy a glass of wine while you gaze out at the river.
The dining area seats four at the charming glass-top bistro table (and if you have extra guests, there is a folding table and four additional chairs stored in the closet). Positioned to best highlight the view, you can enjoy breakfast or dinner against the backdrop of the outdoor scenery!
Even though there are a number of walkable eateries, when you do dine in, you'll have a well-stocked and compact kitchen with stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space. There's a single-cup blender, a slow-cooker, and more culinary gadgets for your use. Spend the day out on the Prom or flying kites on the sand and come back to a slow-cooked stew.
At night, there are two comfortable bedrooms to choose from. The first has a queen-size bed, bedside table, dresser, and a large closet. The second bedroom offers another queen bed plus a twin, a flatscreen TV with another Blu-ray player, and cable. Perfect for adults and a child to share!
There's a stored air mattress available for even more sleeping options, and a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Air conditioning is available as is a video game console with more than 5000 legacy games pre-installed. This classically-designed Seaside beach retreat has a maximum occupancy of six. This condo community also includes a shared laundry room with two washers and dryers.
Seaside offers a great deal of family fun with shops, an arcade, and a one-and-a-half mile, beach-side promenade for a relaxing walk along the shore. Dig in the sand for razor clams or ride a bike around town. You may also opt to stay near home and enjoy lovely Necanicum River views from the living room, dining room, kitchen, and balcony.
Day trips are close by as well. Cannon Beach is only 15 minutes to the south for gallery browsing or photos by iconic Haystack Rock. You can also head north to Gearhart for lunch at Pacific Way Cafe or all the way to Astoria (17 miles north) for museums, shops, and unique eateries.

We had a great stay this last weekend at Holden’s post. It’s two blocks from the beach, in the quieter part of Seaside. And the same distance to the aquarium. It’s within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. The condo was very clean and spacious, and had lots of family oriented perks, like toys and books for the kids, and even a toddler bed in one of the bedrooms so our kiddo could sleep in the same room as us. It also has a nice balcony that looks out over the river. I would definitely stay again, and recommend to friends and family.
River view was great and the Condo was spacious and comfortable. Close to everything we came to see.
Nice place, nice beach and nice home. Unfortunately we could not find the manual for the microwave.
Furthermorewe were not informed, that the rental place was at the first floor, so we had to carry our luggage up the staircase. Being both over 72 years of age, this was some unexpected workout altogether!
Felt like home. Pricey but worth it.
I would give 3 1/2 stars but I can’t because it was a nice location and stay. My only issues that I had was the alarm issues and beeping that didn’t seem to get fixed even after calling the number given and the beds weren’t very comfortable. Everything else in the condo was great and it had everything we needed. I enjoyed my stay overall.
Conveniently located. Plenty of room for our group and had everything we needed.
Nice to have a kitchen and living room especially since we had a lot of rain during our stay. Loved having access to laundry facilities. A big plus when beach side.
This house was comfy and clean.
Wonderful place for a family of 4 (2 young kids) and another couple to enjoy the long weekend. Great location just 3-ish blocks from the beach/aquarium or the carousel mall. Rental came equipped with everything we needed. W-fi was a little slow if multiple devices were trying to use it at the same time. Heaters in each room kept us comfortable. Would come back again!
Super cute little place walking distance to everything downtown. Great for 2 couples with one kid or even just one couple. The house was spotless. Wifi didn't work when we got there but Leslie and the owner jumped all over it and got it up and running quickly. Great service and home.
The grandson said it was a blast. Video games and netflix. The bed was comfy. Thx. Cjf
Very clean and the amenities were terrific. only needed to bring food and clothes.
This rental was perfect for our group of 6. It was easy walking distance to the beach and to downtown Seaside (i.e. coffee and ice cream). The beds were very comfortable. Although small, the kitchen was well organized and maintained and ideal for making pancakes for the crew! Seaside is also a good location for day trips---we ventured to Cannon Beach, Ft. Stevens, and Astoria.
Great location between beach and river.
Great location, and quiet
This property was perfect for my friend and I. It is located near the beach and the cute downtown shopping. Everything we needed was at the place as well as parking for our car. Thank you for a nice getaway!
Beautiful view of the river, and a close walk to the beach. Had everything we needed and the beds were really comfy. Loved drinking coffee on the balcony every morning ☕️
We love the place, very clean, close to everything, we will stay again
we came to Seaside in off season, so for sure, price of rental was overall affordable (will not call cheap though). We didn't realize the location of the house though unless we checked in. This is kind of off route from broadway/beach. So in 2 days, we didn't see much of crowd outside. Whole complex where this rental is was vacant except one unit which appeared to be occupied by owners. So it was like boring location of house to us. We should had stayed near beach so that we can see atleast some crowd. Plus unit seems like upgraded from apartment unit to vacation rental unit at some point. So general feeling of house as if close to nature was missing.
Service of vacasa was good. When we reported that room heater was not working, the manager came quickly and took care of issue. She was very friendly and left space heater too just in case we need in night.
House could get some more kitchen supplies and equipment. Probably will not stay again, not because of service etc however purely because of location and type of apartment feeling in rental.
Great place, but needs a better stocked kitchen.
Lighting was inadequate in living room and bedrooms. Otherwise great location and amenities.
We loved the condo, it felt very homey and had everything you would need, especially on a rainy day. You are only blocks away from downtown and the beach. The complex is very quiet and clean. Loved it and definitely will stay again.
Happy with this unit and how close it was to everything!
From the outside the condos were maintained well, although they were older. Once we walked inside it was a very pleasant surprise as the unit appears to have been recently remodeled.
There is a small patia/deck that overlooks the river and offers a nice view.
Our first day in Seaside it was very rainy and we didn't go out to much, however the house had a Blu-ray player so we went and Rental a Blu-ray from redbox and ate out that night.
The second day was much nicer and we were able to walk to Broadway just a couple blocks over and up to the promenade.
I will be staying here again in the future. We stayed a 3rd night at another large rental house right on the beach, however it was not up kept very well at all. This place was worlds above it other than size and not being right on the beach.
This was a very nice property. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware. Everything was clean and well labeled. There was not a hide a bed and we tried to use the toddler bed and the slats were falling out of the bottom. We did sleep 4 comfortably, but would not recommend more.
We are sorry to see that the sleeping arrangement did not work out well for this group. The home does not advertise a sofa bed, but there is an air mattress that guests are able to use. The toddler bed has been inspected for safety.
Nice condo, will be back next year.
We love our stay the condo was well equipped and very comfortable. There we minor things that could have been taken care of better but not anything that would ruin our stay.
The place was clean, within walking distance of all the Boardwalk excitement. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were impressed with how quiet the place was for a very busy Memorial weekend. The price was very reasonable for Seaside.
Location was within 5 minutes to downtown shops, restaurants, and beach. Condo had all the necessities to make a meal. Cute décor and comfy furniture.
Would definitely stay again.
We loved the unit, it had everything that we needed and was a quick walk to downtown and the beach. The only issue I had was at night the area seems a little sketchy. Cars pulling up along the house next door at 11:00pm for 5 minutes then leave. That happened several times throughout our stay. It could have been nothing but seemed a little weird. Don't get me wrong the unit was awesome and vacasa was extremely easy to use. I will use vacasa again and if this unit was in a different neighborhood I would stay again.
Roomy, well appointed and nicely decorated unit that afforded a great view of the river and morning sun. We were entirely comfortable and would return to this property.
If you want convenient and easy walking distance to the beach and shopping/dining in Seaside, Oregon this is the place to stay! Plenty of free parking at the condo. It was so quiet and my kids loved sitting on the balcony in the mornings looking over at the river and breathing in the fresh air. Thanks for the wonderful stay!!
We had a great time! The unit is only a couple blocks from the beach and the Prom and was very easy to get to both places. It's clean, quiet and very comfortable. It felt like home.
I was disappointed that my ocean view condo res was cancelled at the last minute, but VACASA worked very hard and offered this unit instead. I actually enjoyed being across the street from the river walk. This is a much more peaceful area and I had brought work with me. The condo had everything I needed. I did have a problem with the TV. I called the cable company and things worked fine when they reset it. One suggestion to owners - would be nice to have something to set a suitcase on in the master bedroom, especially for us older folks!
Thanks for your review. Again, we are sorry that we had to move you but it's wonderful that the move was to your liking. Please come visit again!
