This beautiful four bedroom, two bathroom vacation home located in Ocean Bay Park is perfect for your next vacation. Ideally located less than a five minute walk to the beach, ferry, and restaurants, this home is convenient to all. The property has a beautiful, large south-facing deck with outdoor dining for six guests. The table also has an umbrella so you can choose to dine in sun or shade. There is a BBQ with grilling utensils, beach chairs, and an outdoor shower. The house is well maintained and fully stocked with everything you'll need for a fantastic beach vacation including towels, sheets, pillows, and blankets. The home also features air conditioning in all of the bedrooms and a washer/dryer. The kitchen features white cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. The indoor dining table accommodates six guests and there is comfortable living room seating with room for the whole family to relax.

This house was great. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is for a few small things: there was a weird smell in the two large bedrooms (it may have went away or we got used to it), no real oven (i'm really not at all familiar with how to operate a convection/microwave oven hybrid so we just used stove top and grill), the grill igniter button was broken (so i had to light the grill with a lighter), the lock was super finicky, the internet kept dropping (and we had two super rainy days), and the shower near the two full sized bedrooms was missing one of it's doors so there was always a puddle outside of the shower on the bathroom floor. Other than that, the beds were comfortable! The house was clean! So many towels and blankets and linens. Great location. Very simple house, which is all we needed. Would stay at this house again.

Hi, Erin! We are so glad you enjoyed your accommodations despite some setbacks. We were unable to locate any bad odors in the home but have allowed for an airing out after cleaning as a precaution. The batteries in the e-lock have been changed out, and the owner has been made aware of the grill igniter and shower door so they can address those when they are ready. Unfortunately, WiFi can be spotty on the island, especially during inclement weather. We do hope to see you again!

This is a traditional Fire Island house, simple wood construction, paneling inside, great room with kitchen, 4 small bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers. Nice outdoor shower, and nice deck. Large supply of nice beach chairs and umbrellas.
The house had more maintenance issues than would be expected, although we were renting late in the season. Several screens were missing or damaged, so we used the air conditioning at night, even though we could have slept with the window open if there had been screens. There were 7 bikes and none of them were useable - crumbling seats, blown tires, some flat but no pump. There is also need for a light over the kitchen sink area. Washing machine is rusting and was hard to start.

I stayed here with 2 teenagers, 2 dogs, 1 infant, and 4 adults and it never felt crowded. The house was conveniently located close to the beach, restaurants, and store. House was clean and perfect for our 5-day stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend this house.

House was perfect for family and friends! Very clean. Huge grill and outdoor area. Comfortable beds. Best outdoor shower. AC units in every room was amazing. Right by the restaurants, food market, and beach. The price of the home was also incredible for everything that comes with it. We had an unbelievable weekend and will definitely be back!

From the listing and price our expectations of the property were high. We’ve rented in Fire Island for over a decade and are well aware of what a true beach house is. However, things like broken appliances, broken furniture, uncomfortable mattresses and dirty linens are simply not typical of a beach house. The barbecue was not working even though we attempted to get help twice to fix it. There are plenty of beds and overall the house has great potential the problem is is that it’s not properly maintained. A little TLC would go along way and make this a much more enjoyable property. Unfortunately, we would not rent this location again in its current condition. The upsides? Location, a good deck, lots of beach chairs and great outdoor shower.

Loved the amount of beds provided. Very close to Flynn’s and the grocery store. Just a few minute walk to the beach. Bikes and a wagon were provided as well as Tommy Bahama beach chairs. The BBQ was large, clean and plenty of propane. The Air conditioners kept the house nice and cool. Having two newly renovated bathrooms helped out especially when you have teenage boys tagging along. Plenty of towels were provided. The deck area was private and had plenty of seating. The washer and dryer worked fine. Plenty of storage space in the kitchen as well as the bedrooms. Overall we loved 10 Cayuga.

Stayed here for a weekend with some friends. Home is very close to the beach and the ferry, which was great. Home was clean and generally as promised.

I thought the kitchen could've been better appointed (we had no dishwasher tablets) and beach towels would've been nice. All in all though, this is a great base camp for a weekend at the beach.

A perfect weekend getaway house with friends. Newly redone bathrooms were beautiful, AC in all rooms and an open living / kitchen environment made a big difference in our weekend. Clean and comfy, it was the perfect balance. The company was responsive to any questions we had and we ran into no issues with any appliances!

It's a very nice sized , well laid out house. It's nothing super fancy , but very relaxing. We had a great stay and had everything we needed.
