Oceanfront villa w/ pool, relaxing balcony & hammock! Beach is just steps away!

With a stunning beachfront location, marvelous ocean views, a pool, and space for as many as 14 guests, it doesn't get much better than this gorgeous Placencia Peninsula vacation rental! Take a trip to paradise, complete with sun, sand, and surf at this amazing villa.

Perched right next to the sparkling Caribbean Sea, this home is in the friendly and relaxed Placencia Village. When you're here, you will be just a few steps from the beach and a short walk from the restaurants, shops, and other businesses in this charming town.

With a total of five bedrooms and four bathrooms, this home can accommodate as many as 14 guests. This particular listing is for the entirety of this two-level home, though the house is split into three separate, self-contained units. This arrangement would be fantastic for a few small families traveling together, several couples, a group of friends, or an extended family.

Each of the three sections of this home has its own private entrance, living area, full kitchen, and sleeping areas and can be rented separately or all together, depending on your needs. The upper-floor three-bedroom, two-bathroom Mirasol Mini-Villa has the most space. Downstairs there are two near-identical lower floor units, the Mirasol Condo North and Mirasol Condo South, both of which have one bedroom and one bathroom.

Walk into one of the downstairs units and you will find a bright and airy space with all the comforts of home. Step to the back of the house to find a spacious living room with some seating arranged around a TV. This is a great place to sit and watch some cable TV, use the provided WiFi to look up activities, or open up the back door and let in the gentle Caribbean breeze. This area also has a dining room table with space for four, as well as a full kitchen.

The kitchen, complete with beautiful wood cabinets and exotic dark tiles, is the perfect place to whip up some tasty home-cooked meals. With all the modern appliances you might find in your own home, including a dishwasher, full-size fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker, you can easily cook up some fresh seafood with a refreshing tropical fruit salad.

Each of these lower units also has a full bathroom with a tiled shower where you can rinse off the sunscreen and salt water after a day spent lounging on the beach and playing in the sea. There is also a bedroom with a queen-size bed, and the futon in the living room folds out for additional sleeping space.

These downstairs units have a charming porch area where you will love to sit, relax, and breathe in the fresh, tropical air. You could sit in the shade and read a book or gaze at the nearby sea, or step off the porch and directly onto the soft sand of the lovely beach. You won't get much closer to the sandy shore than this!

Walk upstairs to the top floor of this villa to find the largest section of this home, which has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living area has vaulted ceilings that not only make the room feel extra spacious, but also keeps it a little cooler inside. Throughout all the units of this home you will also enjoy partial air conditioning to keep everyone comfortable at night when the gentle breezes aren't enough to cool down the home.

This upper floor section of the house has a large living room with seating and a flatscreen TV. Lovely French doors open up to a gorgeous balcony, which has more seating and even a charming hammock where you can enjoy an afternoon siesta while listening to the waves of the ocean. From this balcony you have fantastic views of the white-sand beach and the beautiful blue sea.

Back inside, you will find another dining area and a full kitchen, also complete with all the appliances and cooking tools the chef in your group may need to prepare culinary delights. There is a full bathroom with a tiled tub/shower. The first bedroom has two twin-size beds, and the second has a queen bed. In the master bedroom is a luxuriously large king-size bed as well as an attached bathroom with another brightly tiled shower.

All in all, with these two downstairs units and upstairs home, this villa can accommodate a total of 14 guests. Children will be comfortable on the fold-out futons or can bring their own sleeping bags for fun sleepover-style arrangements.

This home also offers a laundry room so you will have no trouble freshening up your sandy clothes. Best of all, there is a lovely pool just for you! This pool, reserved for Mirasol guests, is refreshing and inviting, and also has a charming patio area with seating, a covered table, and a charcoal grill that you're welcome to use.

With the pool, a beautiful home, and the beach just past your doorstep, you may be content to spend your entire vacation relaxing right here! Soak in the rejuvenating sunshine, enjoy splashing around the waters of the ocean, and wriggle your toes in the perfectly soft sand. If you decide to check out the nearby Placencia Village, simply walk into town to find a surprising variety of restaurants, as well as shops, cafes, and plenty of other businesses. You could rent some bicycles, kayaks, snorkeling gear, or other equipment to make your stay even more fun!

This part of the country is famous for its diving opportunities, whether you prefer snorkeling or scuba diving. Belize is home to the world's second largest barrier reef, and hosts an extremely diverse range of sea life. There are also dozens of offshore islands called cayes that are waiting to be explored. From Placencia Village you can hop on a boat to take you to these islands, though you could also enjoy a fishing trip or excursion to see the manatees that live in the lagoon or the rare whale sharks that briefly visit this region.

From town you can even book tours that roam farther into Belize. Go ahead and take guided hikes around the jungle, rafting trips down nearby rivers, or spelunking tours around some nearby caves. You may want to check out some Mayan ruins, such as Xunantunich or Caracol, both of which are near Belize's border with Guatemala. Another must-see attraction is the fantastic Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Preserve, where you can see all sorts of animals ranging from armadillos to howler monkeys to almost 300 species of birds.

With so much adventure nearby, and plenty of relaxation right here at home, this oceanfront Belize vacation rental is just the place to plan your next tropical getaway!

A group of 8 of us just returned from a fabulous trip to Belize and Guatemal. Thanks to the help of our Concierrge Veronique McKenzie from Vacasa Belize everything was planned out perfectly! She helped us plan everything from airfare to hotels, to transportation and tours. We flew into Belize City and she arranged tropic air for us to take us to Placencia. We even had transportation at the airport in Placencia waiting to take us to our beautiful villa. We stayed at Mirasol Villa in Placencia. It was perfect for our group of 8. Each couple had there own beautiful king bedroom and bathroom. There were 3 separate living quarters all with washer and dryers, fully stocked kitchen and small sitting area. There was a large deck with our own swimming pool. The beach was only a few steps away. Our accommodations were very clean and spacious. We were close by to a store to pick up on a few food items while we were there. The local manager Kaprie greeted us on our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. Check in and out was very easy. Everyone in Belize was so friendly and helpful. We loved Placencia for its quaint little bars and boutiques. The food was amazing at every restaurant we ate at. Rum runners was excellent and Wendy's is a greet breakfast spot. Ricks cafe is a little bar on a side street that had excellent food and the owners of the Pickled Parrot Bar were very pleasant. Veronique set up a private Monkey River tour for us. Excellent trip. Saw howler monkeys, spider monkeys, crocodiles, bats, all kinds of birds, stopped for lunch in Monkey River which was our guides home town and then he took to see the manatees! Very educational tour! Loved it!

From Placencia we spent a week on a private Island Lime Caye. Booked thru Blue Reef Adventures. Our guides Polly, Richard and Bubbles took exceptional care of us! Another highly recommended adventure. A week full of scuba Diving, snorkeling, fishing, and relaxing on white sandy beaches. We even got to witness baby turtles being hatched. Amazing food... Amazing people... Amazing trip!!!!

From Lime Caye we headed to San Ignacio. Belize inland tours arranged our transportation from Placencia to San Ignacio with a stop at Angel Falls to zip line. It was a 3 hour trip so the zip lining was a great thing to do to break up the long ride. Angel Falls is the highest longest and fastest zipline in the country. Another great adventure that I would highly recommend. We only stayed one night in San Ignacio at the Cahal Pech Resort which was also arranged by Veronique. It was a lovely resort on top of the world. You could see for miles from our room. Beautiful swimming pool and view. We loved it there but not for the elderly or disabled. Very steep hills and cobblestone pathways to get to your rooms.

From San Ignacio we headed to Guatemala. This was booked through La Casa De Don David in Guatemala. They arranged our pickup at the CahL Pech resort and took us to the Guatemala border where we switched to another vehicle over the border. We did a sunset tour of Yaxha ruins. It was absolutely beautiful. Had dinner and drinks at La Casa De Don David's and spent the night. Got up at 2:30 am to do a sunrise tour of Tikal Ruins. It was a full moon and the walk through the park at 3am was mystical! We climbed to the top of the highest temple in Tikal and watched the sun rise and listened to the jungle come to life. One of the most mystifing wonderful experiences I have ever had. The monkeys howling and the mist rising from the pyramids and temples as the sun was rising was spectacular. Our guide Lewis was a wealth of knowledge about the Myan culture and the ruins!
I would highly recommend La Ca De Don David. They did an amazing job coordinating our stay in Guatemala.

Sadly it was our last day and we had to head back to catch our flight in Belize City. We stayed one last night in Burrell Boom at the Black Orchid Resort. It's a lovely resort right on the river. As we ate our breakfast in the screened in patio area there was a whole family of Howler monkeys entertaining us. They also offer river tours to see the crocodiles, monkeys and wild life. This resort was a great place to stay the night before leaving as it was a short 15 minute ride to the airport.

Once again I would like to thank Veronique, Inland Belize Tours and La cas De Don David for helping us plan a trip of a life time! 5 star service all the way!!!
Hope to be back again some day!

We stayed at Mirosol Villa. We had a few maintenance issues, but the staff at Vacasa were quick to respond, & very eager to help address the issues we had.

The location is very convienent, the rental is very nice with easy access to all amenities. The pool is a nice addition for the kids. Would rent this place again. Good view of beach, but they just started construction on another villa in front of it. That would be the only downside.

We were a "party" of 10 adults. All friends. Everyone was thrilled with the home. It gave privacy when needed and access to each other when wanted. Great setup for a large group. We were very pleased that everything in the village from tours to groceries was so accessible. Hint: you do not need a golf cart or car unless you plan to explore.

I title this ALMOST paradise because we had a few mishaps during our stay. Nothing that we couldn't get over, but one of the ladies in our party was mugged on our front porch and her phone was taken. Also we had the only pool in the village and the local children and adults swam there while we were away from the house. There was never any harm done, but it would have been nice to know that this would happen. Every one in the village knew where we were staying by the time we left and even told us that they were "allowed" to swim there. BUT.... I WILL say, I would go back to Placencia Village in a heartbeat!
Manager response:
We are incredibly sorry about this guest's robbery experience; this is the first time something like this has happened here, and the Property Manager was assisting the guest with the police from the moment he heard. We also want to apologize that nearby residents have not been respectful of the pool. It is a private pool for the three villas here, and there are several signs noting it as a private pool. The caretaker will try to keep an eye on the situation and make sure only guests renting the villas are using the pool.

This is a place where you could relax if you wish. But we didn't but yet we did. We rented the whole villa for my children and there spouses and we did a lot. And there is more to do and to see so we'll be back.
