The cabin was decent for the price. Unfortunately, the amenities were closed due to COVID, but we booked this cabin to hike within Yosemite and not stay inside the community. Hard to find the property as the instructions were not detailed enough. We were stopped by highway patrol when we first arrived because we had to pull to the side and figure out how to get to the cabin from the front gate (there was no cell reception). The officer seemed intimidating at first (greeted us with a semi-creepy HOWDAYY) then he relaxed and provided helpful information. I would make sure that you know how to get there from the front gate to avoid that kind of situation as your google/Apple Maps will not be helpful at that point.

Lots of dead bugs under the beds, there were live spiders in our pillows. Could be due to lack of cleaning or just the fact that you’re in the mountains with all kinds of creatures who also live there. Elegant deer everywhere— must drive carefully! Overall, I really enjoyed it. Bug friends, Officer Howdy and all.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Emily. We do our best to keep up with the critters in the area, but they are persistent. We will remind housekeeping to check under the beds. We hope to see you again!

If you are looking for resting in a fully quiet environment, this is your place. One hour driving to Yosemite valley if you are there for hiking and enjoy in nature. Fair price by the quality. Instructions to gather in and check out clear and convenient. Something to improve: clear notice that you’ll pay 33$ to HOA once arrive to get into the neighborhood. Also the waste was there outside from previous visitors during the three days we were hosted (perhaps we were unlucky about the schedule to pick it up by the truck) and the terrace seems like wasn’t cleaned (you will like that ready to enjoy dinner). Nothing that make bad stay, I’m just pretending be constructive. I would recommend the house.

Wildlife. House had plenty of room and it was clean.

The owner is very friendly and helpful, but we had check in problems. The accommodation is in a gated community and you must enter over the main entrance. Google maps shows you a way over a side entrance and you can’t enter. For the permit to enter the gated community you must pay over 30$. The owner told us nothing about that. Second negative point is, that we didn’t know how to use the portable dish washer. There were no advice how to use it, but we ask the owner and he was helping us very well. Thank you for nice location. We would wish that you improve the check in information to make it easier for your guests.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback, Dominik. We are happy you enjoyed the home! We are very sorry to hear about the issues you encountered with check-in. The information regarding the parking fee is included in the confirmation email we send out to each reservation and mentioned in the listing. We encourage all guests to contact out 24/7 Guest Services team with any questions or concerns. We hope to host you again!

Two couples shared this home in Groveland, CA for our visit to Yosemite National Park. We liked the place, but a few things made us rate this unit lower than it needed to be. First, we knew it was a 45 minute trip to the park entrance, but we didn't know it was another 30 minutes to the places to see in the park. This was our responsibility to know, but we think it's important that visitors are aware. Second, we arrived after dark and had trouble getting into the gated neighborhood. Visitors should know you MUST go the the main gate or you won't get in. Also, the unit was very hard to find, even in the daylight. The resort was like a maze, and it took a map every time to find our place. Third, there were several thing that could have made our visit better. There were almost no lights for reading. Bedrooms had only one small light. The description of the unit said there were pantry items but the only item provided was salt and pepper, and we had to replenish that. We also expected a washer and dryer as was listed; the hookups were there but no machines. There were few towels. And while it isn't necessary, it really needs an update.

The house is amazing! We loved everything. The condominium is beautifu, the water of the lake is pretty warm, but we had some problems to get inside the complex. We spent like two hours trying to fixing it. The wifi is not good as well. Bad cellphone signal.
Manager response:
Hello Gilson, Thank you for your review. We apologize for the issues that you experienced checking in to the home but were glad to be able to quickly resolve the issues once our team had been alerted to the situation. We hope to host you again in the future.

The home was a perfect choice I made for our stay, with easy access to Yosemite highway, clean home, all needed basic utensils and cookware. The home was classic, beautifully furnished, warm and cozy! I have already started recommending it all my friends! Thank you for making the trip a very memorable one, and I am sure to come back here next year.
