We can't even think of a better place to relax and sunbathe. You'll also have use of a gas grill, and an outdoor shower to welcome you home from the beach each afternoon! Plus the family dog can come along and join you for early morning walks on the sand! This retreat is all about comfort as well; the bedroom features a double bed with a brand new memory foam mattress. Stream your favorite shows on the flatscreen TV, prepare savory snacks in the fully-equipped kitchen, and snuggle up on the couch to start your movie night.

Perfectly located two blocks from the sand, this home is mere steps from Fire Island SUP Co. - a one-stop-shop for watersports lessons and parasailing, paddleboard, and tubing rentals. Spend hot summer days at the Sunken Forest two miles east, where you can enjoy some shade and take a ranger-led walk through the trees, and spend an evening filling up on fresh seafood at the Island Mermaid one mile west. After a gorgeous day on the sand, you can walk over to Hideaway Restaurant after dark for some dinner and drinks on the bay. There is a bike rental location adjacent to the property should you wish to rent bikes for your stay. Five miles away is the Fire Island Lighthouse where you can learn about the history of Fire Island and take a tour of the tower.

This was our first stay at this rental home on Ocean Bay Park. The location is perfect! Literally a 30 second walk from the ferry and The Schooner Inn and a 2 minute walk to the beach. The house itself was great. A little on the small side but that is to be expected at a Fire Island beach home. The place was very clean and everything was in working order. They really thought of everything when stocking this home. The kitchen had everything you would need, there was an abundance of both bath and beach towels, the a/c worked great, etc...The only thing I would say to a future renter is this place would not be ideal for more then 2 people. It’s very tight and could really only accommodate 2 people comfortably. We would definitely stay here again.

The unit is perfect for 4 people and in walking distances to the beach and restaurants. It is very private and perfect for a quick get away. Beds were comfortable and the roof top deck was amazing.

The unit was very clean, and the staff at Vacasa were very helpful with anything we needed. The house is close to everything, which was a perfect location for us. We stayed in the unit with 2 adults, 2 children and a dog and it still felt very spacious.

Absolutely loved this little place. Nicely kept and decorated. Quiet location, quick walk to the beach. Everything we needed!
My only concern was with vacasa itself, not the place we stayed in. I had a simple question while I was booking weeks ago and then another single question about check out.... I tried to get in touch with someone, anyone by in site message, then text, then email, then phone call with the provided contact information and not once did anyone answer or get back to me with assistance. Fortunately I was able to figure these things out on my own but what if I hadn’t or it was close to an emergency? I know these are difficult times with possibly leaner than normal staffing but you have to have some customer service reps available. I really hope this will get better.
Regardless of this I was say again how lovely and clean the place was and how much we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed with wife two nights for my first anniversary. Apt is great and the roof deck is very nice plus but we had two issues: i) We were were suppose to have available two bicycles with locks during our satay (included in the rental as per description), when we arrived there was only one semi usable bike and no locks, big negative if you plan enjoy Fire Island on bikes like we did. ii) bathroom sink was extremely slow, almost totally clogged, not the cleanliness level you expect from an upscale service theses days. We called Vacasa and these two issues, after almost one hour of waiting we were directed to their local Fire Island support, they say they couldn't send anyone for that and that they would drop us a lock for the one usable bicycle, that never arrived. Very happy we finally visited Fire Island, sand we had such level of under par service from Vacasa.

Great place. Perfectly near all. So clean. I'm truly sold. Maybe mattress could have been more comfortable, but that is preference. Isnt it. Highly a picky person and loved it.

I would not recommend this property to anyone that intends on using it for cooking and lounging from the beach. It was not cleaned properly, the bed was uncomfortable and the stove and tv did not work. To some people that may not matter but to us it did because it was me, my husband and our daughter who is a toddler that were staying in the unit. The pots and pans were also old scratched up Teflon and I really felt bad about using them to cook. This place could of been better if it was clean, appliances worked to full capacity, pots and pans were new and clean, and bed was comfortable.

Wonderful location (literally steps from the Ocean Bay Park ferry dock). Great apartment for a long weekend. Had everything we needed including an outdoor grill which was a nice bonus!
