I cannot even begin to explain the most beautiful views you'll see from this house. We spent the majority of the time on the deck taking in the views of the bay and ocean or down on the beach collecting clam shells during low tides. The kids had a fabulous time in the second living room as well as the bunk bed room. I would suggest that in the bunk room stairs and guard rails should be put up, especially on the highest one. I should also suggest that in the description of the house that this is not a good house for anyone with mobility issues. Between the stairs to get into the house as well as the stairs up to the main level it is 5 flights of steps from the driveway to the main floor. My mother has issues with steps and luckily we were able to help her up the steps but she stayed on the main floor until we left. She enjoyed the incredible views but was sad she couldn't join us down on the beach. This house would be great for families or groups of friends but not elderly friendly. All in all my sister and I would return but probably not with our mom.

It's true. There are lots of stairs at this property. But let me tell you, a little exercise is totally worth the captivating, sweeping views of the bay from the living room windows! Every morning we sat and stared out the windows as we drank our coffee and tea and watched the crabbing boats, pelicans, harbor seals, and fishing birds. Such a healing and restful environment! There were plenty of comfortable beds for all our kids and parents, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved eating all together at the extra long dining room table. Public beach access was only a short walk down the road, which we took advantage of nearly every day. We would come back in a heartbeat...but maybe bring less stuff to haul up the stairs! ;)

We were four couples with kids and this house was perfect. First, the views and ambiance were amazing. You really can't get any better comfort while watching the sunset, sipping a beverage and having your kids play in the background.

The kitchen was a great size and stocked with everything that we needed to cook - lots of pans, knives, plates, cutlery, etc., and a perfect table that can seat 10 people or more. The beds were comfortable, clean and had plenty of pillows and blankets in every room. The bunk beds were great for the kids - and they loved it. There is the main living room has everything you need (ample seating and tv with dvd) and a separate room with an old school Nintendo system and tv for the kids.

I read the review from the person who was disappointed with how the house was laid out but we found it to be just fine. It is not two houses put together like they mentioned. If you are concerned about kids and the stairs next to the bunk room it wasn't an issue for us. The 3 year old who we worried about walking down the stairs wouldn't sleep in the bunk room anyway.

The only con is that there is no house manual so it isn't clear what we were suppose to do when we left the house, or where to go to find the beach.

BEACH ACCESS: turn left when you walk down the stairs, walk about 400 yards and look for a signpost with black letters that says, Public Access (on the right). You have to really be looking for it.

Have fun!

This house is very spacious and super clean, has an amazing view from the main floor, and an extremely well-stocked kitchen. It's just a short walk down a public access staircase to the beach. It was perfect for our extended-family vacation. One warning: There are a lot of stairs (three flights to the main floor) and the stairs are open, so it may not be ideal for everyone. But we loved it!
