The apartment itself is very comfortable and spacious and in a perfect location near the Riverwalk. Stairs and hallway could use a bit of a fresh remodel or update. Also, lots of noise from the street (windows are thin, and also shades do not block out all the light). However, they did provide earplugs and eye masks.

This is the old Morrison Apt Hotel building. I enjoy these old places. We had a corner apt that was refurbished back to original and was beautiful. Lots of huge windows. Our West facing windows allowed a perfect view of the San Fernando Cathedral built in the 1730's. Each night there was an amazing light and music show cast onto the front of the Cathedral which told the history of San Antonio. We also had perfect view of the beautiful Bexar County Court House. There was a wedding on the steps and in the front court yard the day we arrived. Great place to stay. Bathroom and kitchen were also in perfect condition. Access to the West end of River Walk loop was half a block North. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there is a very bright security light mounted to the bedroom window outside. The window blinds do not block that light out. So, if you light a dark room, you absolutely cannot manipulate the window blinds to accomplish that. A resemblance of darkness is all you get.
Manager response:

We loved the location and the apartment was beautifully decorated. It was clean and ready for us!
The view from this unit is really pretty—especially at Christmas. May I suggest adding additional towels and cloths for bathroom and kitchen and maybe one extra roll of toilet paper? :).

We recently stayed at the Plaza Nook and had a great time. The condo itself is clean and has everything you need for a stay there. Nicely decorated and comfortable bed. The location is perfect for walking to the Riverwalk and many other sites in the area. Highly recommend this location for anyone wanting to visit the San Antonio boardwalk and other sites nearby.

The apartment was clean, bright and comfortably furnished! We loved how close we were to the River Walk, but still in a relatively quiet area. The local host was quick to respond via text to my few questions. This apartment is downtown and next to the courthouse, so if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to pack a white noise machine. We did fine without, but next time we might bring one. If you want a spacious beautiful apartment that is close to the river walk and all downtown has to offer, this is your place!

Clean, comfortable and great furnishings and decor

Overall, a nice place. Good spot, easy to get to everything, and just what you need to spend a few days in San Antonio (and the Mexican restaurant right next door is really good). Good, but not perfect, hence the four stars.

Nos encantó el piso, puso súper céntrico, no se lleva todas las estrellas por el tema de los bichillos pero por lo demás espectacular. Lugar increíble y el piso impresionante

The unit is very nice. And the bed, so comfortable we wanted to bring it home with us. Bring a roll of quarters with you for laundry. And search out parking lots before you go. The one closest to the building charges $20 for 8 hours so $60 for entire day. But overall this unit was great.

We were extremely pleased with the apartment and the location, very clean and located right on the Riverwalk. On-site parking in not provided, however, there was a parking garage on Houston Street (just a few blocks away) where we parked for 48 hours and was reasonably priced.

Bad location and building is nasty. The worst is the parking lot. Too expensive and not even for 24hrs. Too complicated and location is not the best close to the court!! So that is never good.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback, Giovana. We regret to hear that you were dissatisfied with your stay, and we hope to have another chance to impress you in the near future!

Awesome location! The building sits on the Riverwalk, but you don't have views of Riverwalk unless you go out onto the beautiful shared terrace down the hall. You DO get beautiful views of the old Bexar Courthouse and San Fernando Cathedral on Main Plaza with western exposure providing gorgeous sunsets. The apartment is full of light as it is a corner unit with large windows on two sides. Decor is fantastic and looks just like in the pictures, modern, fun and clean. The kitchen is small but fully equipped with pots, pans, plates, dinnerware, cutlery, glassware, and cooking utensils. It has a full size refrigerator, a tiny stove and oven, a microwave, but no dishwasher. There is a closet that provides enough space for your things. Shower has great water pressure and bathroom lighting is good. There was plenty of room for my husband and I to spread out. The building doesn't have parking, so we parked a couple of blocks down at the Market Street garage which is $25 per day. The location can't be beat. You are right in the middle of the city. We easily walked up the river to the Pearl Brewery one day, down the river to King William and Blue Star on another day, and Market Square is nearby. Since you are right in the middle of the city, you need to expect city noises. From 9:00-10:00pm, the city shows a cool light show titled "Saga" projected onto the facade of the cathedral and music plays. You can hear the music, but it isn't too loud. It was cool to look out the window and see the show from the apartment. We had some questions about internet and the manager quickly responded. She wants to make sure you are pleased with your stay. I would absolutely stay here again!
