We stayed for 4 nights over Christmas and paid $1,340 per NIGHT. The master bathroom had 1/2 a roll of toilet paper, no Kleenex in any bathroom, & 1 extra kitchen trash bag. The dishwasher and hot tub cover are broken. The kitchen is under stocked and disorganized. I messaged the host twice and got this response “we’ll forward your concerns to management. They’ll reach out.” Never happened. Last, but not least, the house and property are advertised as “no smoking.” The bed rail in the master had a cigarette in it. I took a picture but there is no way for me to upload it. If you want to be ripped off, book this stay. For the price I expected 5 star amenities. It was a 3, at best.
We appreciate your feedback, Shannon! We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced and hope the compensation offered shows our desire to provide you with the best possible experience. We have bulked up the provided supplies, organized the kitchen cabinets, and the dishwasher is working well. Thank you!

This is a really nice house, beautiful location. Everything was great, except sofa bed and hot-tub cover were broken.

We enjoyed our summer trip to Schweitzer in this gorgeous log home!

The cabin is really nice and roomy. The only negatives would be the hot tub doesn't really get hot or stay hot, it seems to be kind of old; and a big issue for us was every bed and blanket in the house was covered in dog hair! Having one child severely allergic to animals, this caused a real problem and even those of us not allergic were sneezing after our two days in the cabin. Noticed that the french door in the upstairs master is broken - does not lock, so it was wide open when we arrived and we had to block it with a chair one night to keep it from swinging open all night. Other from these things, we overall enjoyed the stay very much. The little fire pit was fun and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and have their own space.
Hi, Angela! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and apologize for the inconveniences you experienced. The hot tub is heating well, all blankets have been washed, and the lock on the French doors works properly. Thank you!

Clean and well appointed. Exposed timber throughout - really a cool house. Beautiful view of Lake Pend Oreille from the balcony. 3 minute drive to village and really appreciated the parking pass, which save $15/day. Loved the basement living room which could easily sleep 3-4 kids. Driveway is steep so AWD is a necessity in winter. Only thing lacking was a coffee bean grinder - otherwise, perfect! Would definitely recommend.

There were 10 of us staying at the cabin. It was perfection for our family. Very well stocked with things we would need. Will definitely noon it again!

Very close to the Schweitzer Mountain ski village / area. Good sized house with two living rooms. Well stocked kitchen. The kids enjoyed sledding down the driveway. Vacasa representative was easy to work with and attentive to our needs.

I loved the area but no the cabin
We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the cabin. If there was something we could have done during your stay to make it better we would have been happy to. We have a 24/7 guest services team that would have been able to assist with anything you would have needed!

Absolutely loved this home. It was beautiful, easy to access, and close to the slopes. However, it could use a bit of an upkeep, and the washing machine was not working when we first arrived. Some things in the kitchen are missing (oven mitts, etc.), but overall very well stocked! We loved our stay here and would stay again.

Everything was as advertised about this cabin. It is minutes away from the ski area. Cozy fire, hot tub on the deck, cooking equipment...what more could you want?

Easy to get to and close to the village.

Beautiful area. 1/2 mile to parking and ski slopes House was very comfortable and spacious. Jacuzzi was nice and hot. TV was off and on due to snow and dish satellite. The internet connection is DSL, so very slow. We enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing.

Everything was fine. 3 adult couples fit nicely. Clean, well equipped, very attractive cabin, sweet view off the deck. Easy walk to the Village. Steep driveway, but the snow removal service was spot on. Lost power in several "bursts". We had headlamps and flashlights with us. Found it odd that the unit had nothing in that regard. Thankful for the gas fireplace that kept us toasty during the heavy snowfall we enjoyed during our entire stay. My only negative comment would be the hot tub is very small and doesn't get hot tub hot.

The place was just fine, as advertised Cabin was great. Lots of animals. Wi-fi worked property. We enjoyed our stay and plan on booking again during ski season.

Cabin was excellent. Had a group come out for a ski weekend and the cabin was exactly as promised. Fully stocked, extremely clean, walking distance to the slopes/village. . . really couldn't have asked for anything more. Would come back to Schweitzer again and would definitely look to rent this house again if available.

This cabin was great. the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals during our stay. It was clean and cozy, and has two living spaces, so it's great for a family if kids want to hang out in their own space. We got lucky and both days we stayed we had clear skies, and we were in awe over the view! It was absolutely amazing! The location was great, we walked down to the village, it was about a 10 minute walk. I would definitely recommend staying here, and hope to visit again.

I stayed at this house last December for a weekend skiing with friends. The booking was a very pleasant experience and the staff very friendly over the phone. Picking up the keys in town at the office after hours was easy. The house itself is beautiful and it is fairly close to the ski hill. An easy walk or just click into our skis and coast down the road to the chairlifts and pubs! The hot tub on the balcony was perfect after a day on the slopes. I will be staying here again and would recommend this place to anyone.
