Come and stay where Karsten Solheim, the founder of PING, and his wife Louise would spend their summers. You will quickly see why this home was so special to the founder of Ping. When entering the home, you will first see photos of Kasten and Louise, including one with President Reagan! There are many golf books that Karsten read and memorabilia from his travels for guests to enjoy. The suite has stayed frozen in time, with comfortable retro furniture and fixtures. Read a book and take in the Puget Sound view from the living room, deck, or outdoor sitting area.
Down the red stairs in the back of the home is beachfront to the Puget Sound where you can collect shells, swim, and kayak. This home is the perfect golf getaway, located near multiple courses like Gold Mountain Golf Club, White Horse Golf Club, and Kitsap Golf Clubhouse. Just a short drive away (6 miles) is Poulsbo, a Viking themed town, with great dining and shopping with water views. For a local hidden treasure, drive to the Indianola Store & Deli (7 miles) and walk out on the long pier. From the pier is a 180 view of The Cascade Mountains, Seattle, Mount Rainier, and Mount Baker!
