We enjoyed our stay and reccomend it to all. Getting out of the Florida heat was our primary goal and we were not disappointed.

I loved the cute, quant place. It was just my taste. Fairly secluded so my dog had fun running around the yard. The only issue I had was that the back door did not lock (rather, it locked but could still be pushed open)....as a woman, that was concerning but overall the place was great.

When we arrived we found dead bugs all over the floor and window sills. The smell of the house was mildewy and horrible. There was broken glass on the front steps which I split my foot open on. The back Dior was kicked in and the door frame busted so there was no way to secure our property or ourselves. We reached out to the host with no help at all. They did not call or return emails or texts. I’m still waiting to hear back from them . Don’t rent this place.
We are so sorry to read your stay was not more positive. We have been short-staffed due to the effects of COVID-19 on our industry and apologize for the toll it took on your vacation. This cabin is adorable and we had a great 4 day weekend. Not much in the area was open or going on due to the time of year, we traveled around to the different Towns and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The whole weekend was a great getaway, but the Cabin just set it off. Thanks for the great memories, we will definitely use Vacasa again. Donald W from Suffolk VA

The cabin was exactly as pictured online. Truly a restful place in the country away from the city. The cabin was easy to find but the drive to the cabin was up a hill and access was along a very narrow gravel road. Other than the challenging road, the Crackerbox Palace cabin was what we wanted and expected, a rustic retreat that reminded me of my Grandparents farmhouse. A very warm and welcoming home away home.

This house has an awesome deck and classic cabin feel. It is pretty much one big connected area with living, dining, kitchen, and sleeping areas separated by doorways, steps, and ladders but no doors. We picked fresh blackberries in the driveway and enjoyed fireflies and stars at night. Highly recommend!

The cabin is quaint and remote. It has a spacious kitchen . It reminds of old pioneer days. Some of the modern amenities need updating. Overall a pleasant and quiet stay.

Loved where the cabin was located. Very quiet, enjoyed the sounds of the creek and it was private. Our grandson loved catching lightening bugs. Weather was awesome in the morning and evening.
