This a beautiful home, however the owner has neglected the property. The furniture were ripped, chairs were broken. The bedding had blood stains, mattresses were stained, showers had mold, ceiling fans were dirty, stove had food and grease, kitchen cabinets were dirty along with the refrigerator. The property needs a thorough cleaning.

Roomy cabin with three bedroom that can sleep 4 adults in the king beds and 5 kids in the double bunk beds and pullout couch.
The view is outstanding. The hot tub is nice as well. On the downside the pool table is nice if only the pool sticks had tips on them. There is no wood burning anything, no fire pit and no wood burning fire place even though it’s advertised as having these amenities.

Our 1 week stay in this cabin was less than stellar. It is a beautiful, well built cabin but the cleanliness was not up to par for normal, everyday clean much less during a pandemic. There were cobwebs in window sills, even in the low windows. Bathrooms were not clean, smudged glass and hairs in showers and tubs. We attempted to clean some ourselves but could find no general cleaning supplies as was stated there should be. We purchased our own all purpose cleaning spray, paper towels and toilet paper.
We quickly noticed the cover of the hot tub had been left off and there was leaves and sticks inside and the water was green. We called the host about another issue and told them this and that my sister located the chemicals and shocked it herself. We were told by the host that is what they would have recommended we do anyway.
There were 4 trashcans to put trash, however all 4 were jam packed when we arrived Saturday. We emailed the host and got no response on Saturday. Sunday we called the host and informed them of the trash situation, we had bags of trash sitting in the kitchen for 2 days until they came and picked it up Tuesday afternoon.
There were 4 washcloths in the whole cabin. When we mentioned this when we called the host we were told it isn't a hotel and towels are guaranteed but not washcloths. So we went and purchased our own washcloths, loofahs and some extra towels.
The fire pit on the balcony was inoperable. The propane tank was pulled out of it and empty.
A lot of the dining room chairs were rickety and half broken.
We were not prepared to have to do so much "work" on vacation, especially for the price we paid for the week. We will not be booking this cabin again or any other rental run by Vacasa.

Thank you for bringing the cleaning and maintenance deficiencies to our attention so we can address them appropriately. We have added more linens and terry to the home to make sure there are enough towels, blankets, washcloths, and hand towels for our guests. We have retrained our housekeeping staff to make sure they know how to properly clean the homes since the pandemic, and stock our homes with an initial supply of toiletries, paper products, and detergents. While trash pickup is once a week, our Vacasa staff is always available to assist guests with overflowing trash and arrange an additional pickup. Our maintenance team will check the outdoor firepit and dining room chairs. Thank you!

Beautiful home, plenty of space for 3 families (10 people total). Not very clean (2 bathrooms and the floor on the main level had dirt swept up in a pile that I guess they forgot to get up. Sheets on one bed were very rough. All other beds were great. Porch is amazing for views but furniture cushions are moldy. We used our own camp chairs.
Never had any problems with water usage.
Would stay here again with the expectation that we would need to “spruce up” the cleaning upon arrival.

We just returned from staying here for a week, the house is very nice and had more than enough room for our party of 10. The kitchen had anything you could need to cook and the outdoor grill was also nice. The only complaint was that you have to be conservative with water usage. It was only a problem on our first day because the caretaker drained and refilled the hot tube which depleted the water tank and we had no water the first night. The hot tube must have a leak in it because we had to turn it off four days in due to low water volume. With all that said I would definitely return and the house is in a great location to visit Asheville or Gatlinburg.

Place is great. In an awesome location with amazing views. The house is a bit more warn than the photo's show. The outdoor fire place wasn't working, and the hot tub was a bit dirty. Overall, we had an amazing stay! Would absolutely recommend for a group or family stay!

This was a great home for our large family that attended a local wedding in Sylva! Beds were comfy and we enjoyed using the hot tub, pool table and both fireplaces throughout our stay. Easy to get to places and the Dillsboro and Sylva downtowns were just 4 mi away! Be sure to try the great cheesteaks at SOUTH OF PHILLY! There is also a super Walmart and 24 hr Dunkin Donuts! We would certainly come back. I would give 5 stars however, for the price charged for the cleaning fee- we would've expected the glass to be sparkling on the beautiful windows which are the focal point to this gorgeous home. The upper windows you could tell had not been touch in quite some time- they were dusty and had a film of dirt on them. The doors that lead outside had so many hand and finger prints. I know if this was my mountain home, I would want it to be sparkling. My sister in law had to wash her sheets from the main floor bedroom because she found hairs, questioning whether or not they had been washed from the guest before. I also found hairs on the tile floor in the upper shower. Seems the rug in that bedroom needs vacuuming as well. Some of the oven controls did not work, like the exhaust fan. All in all we enjoyed our stay and hope these comments are accepted as an honest feedback.

We've rented all over western NC, north GA, and Tenn for over 15 years. This is home has what we look for - beautiful views, no other homes in view, clean, nice furnishings, all paved access for our sports car, etc. The management was great to work with, It was a pleasure, I always spend way to much time looking at rentals to decide on for our annual fall mountain trip and it was well worth it finding this home.

If you like seclusion, this place is for you. Plenty of things to do for the kids. Safe gated entrance up a STEEP incline that is paved. Only drawbacks are that the grill is rusted out, the oven fan for convection is shot, and dryer takes a couple of cycles to dry. (The vent had blown off the back and lint from previous renters was everywhere. It was an easy fix). Overall, those minor things did not affect an outstanding stay.
