I absolutely hate leaving a bad review. I only do this when it’s absolutely necessary. I’m hoping my feedback will help the hosts improve for future guests and will help inform future guests so they know what to expect prior to arrival.
The condo was freezing cold throughout the duration of our trip. We had the thermostat set as high as it would go (75), we had both space heaters plugged in and turned to max, and we burned a fire in the fireplace. Very unfortunately, my husband and I froze the entire stay and could not get warm. And despite what the thermostat reflected, it was 10000% definitely not 75 degrees. I’d be shocked if it ever got above 65. There is Nothing worse than having to wear a parka, beanie and full winter wear while trying to relax and watch television especially while on vacation you’ve paid for.
The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes. That was nice for cooking Thanksgiving. And this is why I’m giving 2 stars. However, we were only left with the single small trash bag in the can for a 4 night/5 day stay so we were forced to buy a box of trash bags. This was disappointing.. given the length of time we paid to stay, being provided with at least one additional trash bag would’ve been nice. Also, the dishwasher was full of dishes when we arrived. Who knows whether they’re clean or dirty and I’m on vacation. I do not want to unload a dishwasher of someone else's dishes.
The hot water in the shower lasted less than 10 minutes. In a condo we couldn’t get warm in, a cold shower is absolutely miserable. There were two of us so we had to alternate who got the shower each morning. That is unacceptable.
There was black dog hair on the towels. And there were white stains that resembled bodily fluid on the extra comforter provided so it was clear it had not been washed between guests. That is unacceptable. ALL linens should be washed between guests. And these days, cleaning should be top priority given we’re in the midst of a global pandemic.
As other guests mentioned, the walls are paper thin so if there is a guest in unit B, be prepared to hear every single move they make, every cough, every flush, etc.
Also, maybe I missed this on the listing but be prepared to trek up or down hill from the parking lot and then up 2 flights of stairs to the unit. It is not conducive for anyone in a wheelchair or on crutches. Maybe I missed this on the listing but we had no idea it would be such a trek to get in the condo. Otherwise, I would’ve limited what we brought with us. Unloading and loading was a real challenge.
Sad to say, we were very disappointed with quite a few things and we will not book this condo again .
Hi Dorian. Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear that the home was chilly during your stay! We have reached out to our maintenance team to ensure that we’ve had this issue fixed. We’re also sorry to hear that our housekeeping staff missed some crucial details as it is never our intention to disappoint. We have passed these comments along to the staff so it’s not missed again in the future. We do hope that we have another chance in the future to impress you.

Okay unit, but was really cramped, kinda dirty (dog hair in towls, other random hair on bathroom floor and sink & tub, dust and cob webs on flood lights, poorly cleaned dishes), very little sound insulation between unit A and B, broken blinds & lights on side of bed, and no unit specific instructions or resort guide. Otherwise worked fine for just the two of us and we were able to make meals and get a good night sleep.
Thank you for your review, Russell. We are sorry to read you were not happier with the condition of your rental. The property manager will speak with housekeeping about the oversights, and maintenance will take care of the blinds and lights. We hope to see you again!

This stay was super nice and the apartment was very clean but the walls are a bit thin since we could hear everything out neighbor was doing.

Nice place, quiet. Only problem was they left dirty dishes in the sink, dirty bathroom towel on bathroom counter, and when we pulled the Murphy bed down, there was someone else’s head hair on the sheets and pillows. I slept on clean bath towels over the sheets and pillows. Not every fun to show up to but especially not during covid. I called Vacasa and they Filed a report. May want to bring extra sheets, pillows and cleaning supplies To be on safe side. Hope I don’t get coronavirus now.

I thought this place was okay, the walls are incredibly thin and could hear people next door even just talking at normal volume. It was freezing inside when we got there and the heaters took forever to heat the place, by the time we left the next morning it was warm. Not enough blankets, had to sleep in full sweats and was still cold. Otherwise, good place for a few nights (we only stayed one), balcony was nice, and parking was good.
Hi, Erik! The heater was brand new in December, so we are surprised to hear you had difficulties with it. We will make sure it is checked and have added extra blankets to help. Thank you!

This place had everything we needed for a cozy stay in Tahoe. The kitchen is well appointed, and while small, the condo is perfect for two people. The management company is friendly and easy to work with. Also, the Granlibakken resort was overall really nice. Great place to stay if you are planning to snowboard at Sqaw/Alpine or just enjoy the area.

Having a kitchen stocked with utensils, spices, and pots and pans was really a plus for us, because we made breakfast every morning and cooked some dinners as well. The unit is dog-friendly, although we did not have a dog.
