The home had excellent views and very close to Eastsound (10mins drive), which made the location perfect.

This house had a phenomenal view, very nice furniture, and an awesome kitchen with almost any utensil/pan that you could think off, and multiple sets of dishes. In addition, the house has many windows, and even the outer doors have slider screens, to keep the house cool, as well as an overhead fan way up high.

Even before you unlock the door this place takes your breath away— the view from the deck is so much better than a picture can convey. The interior is just as lovely as the pictures suggest, and the kitchen is well stocked, including some basic staples. We truly had everything we needed once we carried in our groceries. It’s a decent drive from town, so being able to cook our own meals was a big plus. It easily accommodated our group of 5.

Found this gem on Vacasa. It made our first ever visit to Orcas Island one that we will remember for a lifetime!!!
The sweeping views of Eastsound were incredible!! This house had everything you could want in views, amenities and close proximity to the town of Eastsound that you could ask for!! Each time I BBQ’d I had a visit from a sweet Doe who just wanted to hang out with me. Lovely home and a view to die for!!

This was one of the most beautiful views of a house we have rented! I would absolutely stay here again!! It was well stocked and very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer!

The other reviews of this place are spot on. The views are unbelievable. The home is nice and clean and actually has most of what you need for cleaning along the way. There was a deer who visited us each morning and great spottings of bald eagles. The only thing to notice is that it got very hot for sleeping. There are plenty of fans throughout the house but not a lot of air flow with small windows. Since 4 of the 6 sleepers are in 1 room, that room, in particular got quite warm. All in all, we would definitely return. It's up on the hill so you have great walks yet right in the center of the island so easy driving to either side.

A lovely, comfortable spacious house with most fantastic views of East Sound and the islands beyond to the west. Easy drive to the town of Eastsound, Moran State Park, Buck Bay (Olga) for fresh seafood, and Doe Bay. Uncluttered spotless space and well equipped for cooking. Great deck. Quite private. Upon departure, two deer came to bid goodbye.

This place has an amazing view of the water and had good privacy off of the street. It was clean and well maintained. Some of the cons were the beds were not made (which I later read in the rental agreement), but I thought it was an odd ask when you are on vacation! The house was also lacking in supplies - No paper towels, detergent, and no charcoal for the grill. The electricity was out for several hours (over multiple days) and once we heard this happens often on the island, we were surprised there was not a good back up plan in place (no grilling supplies, one tiny flashlight, no batteries, no cooler to keep food). The alarms also kept going on and off in the house (probably due to the power outages). Our stay was not 'effortless', but we did enjoy the location on the island and the view! A suggestion would be to add some comfy chairs out on the deck!
We loved our stay in this house. It's very well cared-for. Kitchen has every utensil and appliance you can imagine. From the living room and deck, we watched the eagles--both golden and bald and drank in the most amazing vista you've ever seen.
