Great views, great deck, easy to find. Clean and comfortable. We were 7 adults and fit great. Nice having two showers—we ran the Moran Relay that weekend and definitely be needed them. Thank you!

It was convenient to pickup the keys in town and head out to the cabin. It is much larger than the pictures make it look. It's right on the water and we were treated to Orcas, Dolphins and Seals throughout our stay. The only thing that makes it a 4 vs a 5 is the location. The view is fantastic but it's about 15-20 min back into town if you want to get supplies. The community beach was very nice and private. Definitely would recommend. The contract was a little confusing, I thought we had to clean up the place but possibly didn't, we did anyway, yay. There were 8 of us and we had room for everyone. The owner was good to warn us about getting reservations for the Ferry, there were indeed some people at the terminal who didn't get on the boat, reserve early!

We loved everything about this house. It was perfect for three friends and two ten-year-olds. The house was clean and well-equipped, and the views are spectacular. The community beach is lovely. We saw lots of wildlife right at the house, including dolphins and bald eagles. We're already talking about coming back!

We were treated to beautiful views of the water and mountains from this property. Mt Baker was out in all of its glory. There was enough space for our group of 5 adults and 2 kiddos to sleep and hang out. Kitchen was a bit small but we made it work and were still able to cook our meals just with fewer chefs in the kitchen. ???? We did have some troubles with the dishwasher working properly, even with following the directions provided on how to use it. We ended up hand washing most of our dishes. Also, we did not notice the fine print stating that toilet paper, paper towel, dish and hand soap were not provided. I have stayed in many rental properties and that was the first time I have had to bring my own toilet paper. Make sure to stop in town and pick some up before heading out to the house. We enjoyed walking down to the beach front. One other sort of interesting thing was the inventory list of every single item in the house. Overall a good experience.

We loved that the cabin was close to town, but very secluded and peaceful. We grilled fresh oysters and watched seals and birds from the deck, and explored the lower beach and found starfish, anemones and other sea life at low tide. Plenty of room and all the amenities we needed - but we were only there at night for the most part. We explored a few islands in our time in the SanJuans and enjoyed coming back to our "home base" for a relaxing evening. Thank you for sharing your little slice of Heaven!

We stayed here for a family get away with adults and also young children. There were great toys, books, chairs, and puzzles for the kids to play with which they absolutely loved! There were areas outside the house with steep drop-offs that made us nervous, but we just made sure to keep close watch on the young kids. There were fences up for safety in some areas to help with this, but not all. The view was amazing, the pictures really don't do it justice. We saw tons of dolphins and sea lions right from the balcony. Very peaceful and quiet area, with a secluded feel. We used the fire pit for marshmallows and smores at night which was very fun. Plenty of rooms and areas to lounge so you never felt crowded. The house heats up quickly with heater adjustment for every room which was great. One note is they do not have any paper towels, so if your planning to do your own cleaning or just want paper towels to use make sure to bring your own. We would recommend this place to anyone! Very reasonably priced and a great stay. The hosts even met us on the main road to help us find the house location in the dark since it is pretty tricky to find which was a big help!

We enjoyed a fun week with family in this great house! We had beautiful views of the mountain and sunsets, enjoyed watching the harbor seals, and were visited by many deer. We had plenty of room for all of us. We had 3 little ones under 6 so we loved the beach at Moran Park. We enjoyed Eastsound and traveling around the island. The deck is great! The hardest part was finding it the first time. Thank you for a great stay. The house was immaculate when we arrived.

We just returned from a stay here with two children. Like the other reviews said, the first time you drive here it can be tricky to find. That said, it feels very private and secluded, and in a very scenic and quiet part of the island. We like to stay in areas like this, so it suited our taste. The house itself was very well-appointed and extremely clean. We had everything we needed... our favorite part was watching the sunset late into the evening from the wrap-around deck. We saw a couple dolphins and sea lions in the waters below us, and many black tail deer came around the house to my daughter's pleasure. The photos of the deck and the view don't do this justice- It's so lovely and peaceful, we looked forward to coming home each day and gazing out into the waters. We also loved the private beach at the end of the road, and spent many mornings exploring. We would highly recommend this with children though it does have a steep downstairs (with a door), so you will need to be mindful depending on ages. But there was a high chair and a play area with toys upstairs which was a nice benefit. We loved our stay! Hope to be back.

Everything said by other reviewers is true - a gorgeous location, peaceful, wonderful views. The kitchen is small if you're accustomed to a gathering spot for cooperative meal preparation. The main problem is how little in basic supplies like soap, paper products, etc. are provided. The lengthy instructions sent ahead of time mention this, but it's odd compared to other VRBO properties we've enjoyed. The property is some distance to the nearest store. If you arrive late to this property and forget or can't get to the store for such things, it's inconvenient as is having to make up beds required of guests at this property. Plus, it's not gracious and welcoming. If it costs a bit more to provide such amenities, many like us would not object.

Our family get together included 2 parents and 3 twenty-something kids. Everyone loved this rental. It's secluded, has beautiful views of the surrounding water, opportunity to see wildlife and includes access to a community beach. Just walking around in this small community is fun and interesting. The house has lots of nice porch space, good separation of bedrooms and a large room on the bottom floor for tv or movie watching with maybe 100 videos. There is also a nice laundry area and plenty of books to read. You'll find a fire pit behind the house if you want to roast hot dogs or marshmallows. You can't miss the wood in the shed, but you'll need kindling. There is a wood stove inside if needed. The house has nice, comfortable beds and furniture. There's plenty of room for 6 people to have a place to sit in the living room, if you have more some might want to go downstairs to the family room or sit on the kitchen table chairs. There's a great loft area upstairs outside the bedroom, with children's toys and an area for reading. Follow the direction provided by the rental agency and you will find the house. It's not hard but we wondered if we were on the right road, there aren't many street signs. After that, everything was lots of fun!! Keep the kitchen trash can away from the wall heaters, we melted one and found a replacement at the local hardware store in town. It would be good if there was a sign on the trash can, we were not thinking about that outcome and it got cool at night so we turned on the heater for a while. We left our trash in a 33 gallon bag in the trash can behind the house because the recycling center hours did not work with our departure. The management company was good enough to dispose of it for us and we were only charged $12 for that large bag. A good service and reasonable cost. I think everyone on the island pays by the bag for garbage disposal. Our visit was in early September, 2015. This rental was a very good value for the money spent and a wonderful stay for us!!

Four longtime friends had a wonderful short stay in September. Quiet and cozy. Loved the deck overlooking the beautiful water.

Beautifully situated on the northeast side of the island, it has 2 sides with unobstructed view of the water. Not overly large, but it was comfortable for the 6 of us and accurately described. We were visited by bald eagles, harbor seals, and a mink. It has a secluded feel even with the neighbors. The drive from town seems long at first (gravel road with turns and 15 mph speed limit) but isn't a factor. Many of the roads on the island are slow and this house is closer than many. Look out for turkeys on the road! We would like to return.
