This house comfortably accommodated three couples. The private dock is a great added touch for summer water toys. Very close to swim or paddleboard to the sandbar, which is a fun place to hang out on hot days. The kitchen is well stocked with high-quality gear, which we loved during our stay.

One thing to note is that this house is very close to Camp MiVoden, a church-affiliated summer camp. So when there are lots of campers around it can be a bit loud during the day and early evening with camp activities.

Nice deck overlooking the Lake. Dock is very nice. House was clean with all the amenities one would need. Would stay again

We spent two nights here during mid August. There's no A/C so head's up. During the day no A/C isn't bad as you're probably lounging in the clear, warm water of Hayden Lake. At night however... it can be a tad uncomfortable when the humidity and temperature doesn't abate until late.

The private boat dock has a shallow draft with a soft, sandy bottom which is perfect as a home base for swimming, snorkeling, floaties, sunbathing. There's a small sandy beach along side and the water was clean, clear, and warm. We spent probably 2/3rds of our total time down at the dock and in the water. Very, very nice! Bring fishing poles and water toys.

The kitchen is well laid out and cooking is a pleasure. There's a nice gas grill on the deck, directly outside the kitchen. We used it a lot during our stay. Bring everything you'll want to eat as the drive into town is annoying and there is no market nearby (that we we're aware of).

There's cable TV and Internet. But hopefully you'll be enjoying the deck furniture and the excellent views.

Bathrooms are adequate, clean, and roomy.

Why only 4 star rating? The paddle pontoon boat prominently pictured in the listing was gone. Three of our guests were very much looking forward to using the paddle boat. I don't recall reading in the listing that the boat wasn't available, so perhaps I overlooked that and made a mistake. However I don't think that was the case as of 8/20/2019. So vacationer beware.

That said, we're definitely going to return next year.
Manager response:
Hi Trevor, We are happy that you enjoyed your stay at Sandbar Point! We are sorry for any confusion about the paddle pontoon boat - this boat is not available for renters to use, and is not a listed amenity of the home. We hope you are able to return soon!

One of the few properties with sandy beaches and the dock was very nice.

Quaint home, lovely views, had a great time on the lake boating, fishing and swimming. Everyone was so friendly. Had a great time.

The views of the lake can't be properly captured in photos. Seclusion, yet close to town and quiet are all good reasons to book your stay here. I hope to be back soon.

We had a great time. Thanks!
