House is cute and well-appointed. The on-call manager is very fast to respond and super friendly and helpful. However, three things that really impact the stay:
1. The house is just a few meters from the town's church. That's a wonderful location in terms of access to the square/dining/shopping, however, the church bells chime every 15 minutes and then ring the number of hours. So, for example, at midnight there are four chimes and then twelve loud gongs. If your sleep is impacted by noise, don't stay here, it's very loud all day and much of the night (no bells between 12-6am).
2. In February, the terrace does not get direct sun. The bells are also VERY loud on the terrace. It's very nice up there, but there are definitely drawbacks.
3. We visited in the winter and the house stayed 55-60 degrees F, so we needed to have the two space heaters on. With those on, however, you cannot have any lights on while running the kitchen appliances at the same time (stove, oven, microwave, hot water heater) or else the breaker shuts down all the electricity. In the summer I'm sure that's no big deal b/c you won't have heaters on, but in the winter we were constantly turning off one thing so we could turn on something else.

Just a few heads up so you really understand the place when booking.

I am in the process of buying a property in the pueblo, so have stayed in various rentals there whilst viewing, and for 2nd and third visits, as well as opening bank account and getting our NIE. We know the pueblo very well but this is our worst experience of the place.

Regarding this property:-
This is a really lovely house, with a really good bathroom and kitchen. It is loaded with all modern equipment, i.e. fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, electric oven and hob, microwave, TV and wifi, bathtub with shower over, x3 portable electric heaters 400-800watts, so smallish. Roof terrace as well. All sounds great BUT!!!
It has an old style fuse board with just 6 fuse sections. If you have on 2 heavy use appliances it just about copes but more than that and it constantly trips out.
I asked the agents to get the owner to look at this and they just said it is an old house and we were consuming excessively.
In summer when it is warm and sunny, bright until late, there is no need for lights or heaters. We stayed in January 2020 and after 6pm you needed lights. You also needed heat as the house gets cold very quickly after the sun goes down. With lights and heaters on, we could not use any of the other facilities. Bolling a kettle tripped the electrics. Using the cooker also tripped the electrics. Guess what, using the TV also tripped. For each appliance you wanted to use, you had to turn off at least one. We had to eat out every day as we couldn't use the cooker, as that alone tripped everything if you had one light on. Try cooking in the dark. Clearly unsafe and with others in the house, dangerous.
The agents didn't seem to grasp what I was explaining was happening, despite very good English.
I am not normally one to complain but I would not stay in this lovely house outside of the summer months, until the owner sorts out the very real problems with the electrics.
Just to add one further point, the terrace picture on the booking site is misleading. It appears sunny and it is from 8am-10am. The rest of the time it is shaded by properties all around it, including the beautiful parrochial church, right next door.
You have been advised.
Manager response:
We appreciate you taking the time to tell us about your experience. We are surprised to read about the difficulties you experienced with the electrical work during your stay. This has not been a problem in the past, so we will be looking into this right away and apologize for the inconvenience you experienced.

It was very nice house with everything we needed from furnishing to other things such as dishwasher, fan, 2 bathrooms,.....
There wasn't air conditioning but it was possible to sleap without it.
One disadwantage that we didn't like about the house was that it was near the church and the bells rang every hour also in the night. But we got used to it.
In spite of it we would come back becaulse we liked it very much.
