Gorgeous oceanfront home with great views, private hot tub!

You'll fall in love with the Oregon Coast as soon as you get a glimpse of this beautiful oceanfront Neskowin vacation rental! With gorgeous ocean views, a private hot tub, ample entertainment options, and space for up to eight guests, you will have the time of your life in this lovely home.

Located a couple of miles north of Neskowin proper, this home is perched on a hill overlooking the beach and the sea. The closest beach access is about a half-mile walk via the Blue Heron Trail, which begins one street over from this house.

This unit and its neighboring unit (which can sleep up to six adults and two children) are part of a larger home that can sleep up to 14 adults and two children.

With three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, this home can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests. The interior of the house is beautifully decorated and it would be a fantastic place for several couples, a group of friends, or an extended family to stay, but please be sure to supervise young children as there are glass tables, a staircase, and fragile decorative items that may be unsafe for our youngest guests.

Inside, you will find a warm and spacious living area with an open floorplan and enormous windows that allow views of the nearby ocean. You will love to nestle into the plush sectional sofa and gaze out the windows at a sunset, or storm-watch from the safety and comfort of this living room. A gas fireplace keeps the space extra cozy, and a large flatscreen TV is mounted on the wall, waiting to entertain you in the evenings when it's too dark to enjoy the sights.

While you're here you will have many entertainment options, including WiFi access, cable TV, a DVD player, books, board games, Netflix connectivity, and even a foosball table upstairs in the loft. There is even a laundry room so you don’t have to worry about what to do with your wet, sandy clothes. Outside you will find a patio area, a gas grill that you're welcome to use, and - best of all - a private hot tub where you will love to sit, relax, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea.

Back inside, the chef in your group will be delighted to explore the full kitchen, complete with beautiful granite countertops, plenty of cabinet space, and all the appliances and cooking tools needed to whip up tasty meals. There is enough space for everyone at the dining room table, and there are two additional seats at the kitchen island in case anyone likes to watch the cook work his or her magic.

The main, ground level of the home offers a convenient half-bathroom that is accessible from the hallway. A master bedroom features a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, access to the patio, and a fabulous attached bathroom with an enormous shower and a separate jetted bathtub that will be perfect for a relaxing soak at the end of the day.

Walk upstairs to find a partially open loft area that has a fun foosball table. From this space you can look down onto the living area and even enjoy views of the ocean from the windows. This upper level contains two more bedrooms and another full bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a queen-size bed, and the other features both a queen bed and a futon. All in all, this home can sleep up to eight guests.

Neskowin is a beautiful, friendly, and small coastal town with amazing scenery and great beaches but few businesses. This is an ideal place to visit if you want to truly enjoy a relaxing vacation to a laid-back beach town. In Neskowin itself you will find a few restaurants (try the wood-fired pizza at the Cafe on Hawk Creek) and a golf course. The main attraction, however, is the spectacular stretch of coastline. If you wait for low tide, you can walk right up to the iconic Proposal Rock and search the tidepools for sea life!

Elsewhere around the coast are many other towns of all sizes, so don't be afraid to explore! About 20 minutes south is the popular Lincoln City, which has all sorts of shops, restaurants, a casino, golf courses, and much more to offer visitors. Pacific City, about 10 minutes north, has great opportunities for horseback riding as well as boating and crabbing in the Nestucca Bay. Along the coast you will find plenty of recreation areas with picnic spots, hiking and biking trails, and scenic overlooks where you can enjoy the views and maybe even glimpse a whale.

If you could use a relaxing beach getaway, book a stay at this oceanfront, warm, and welcoming Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental and get ready to have an amazing time!

Loved the ocean view and the hot tub. Otherwise, the house is in serious need of repair and updating.

Had a fantastic time cooking, visiting & just relaxing with my best women-friends, in this beautiful home!

Great view. House was clean, comfortable, well-designed and well-equipped for rentals. We had 7 people (2 kids), which was perfect. Eight adults would be difficult. Never heard the people in the attached unit. Loved the trail to the beach! Rental car dragged on steep driveway (approach at an angle if you have low car).

We loved this house so much! The walk to the beach was beautiful but not for people who don’t love walking. I’m only giving it 4 stars because 3 of the 4 burners on the stove didn’t really cook and there was a wine fridge that didn’t work. Otherwise, it was an amazing stay and we definitely will be back.

We loved our stay in Neskowin! The view was spectacular and the trail to the beach was like being in a fairytale. The place had plenty of room for multiple families and the hot tub was a perfect topper to the place. (Although a little snug for 4 adults) We saw whales our very first night there too.
The only things I could say that are negative is the general maintenance of the house could be tended to a little better. For example we noticed several doorknobs were loose and some of the kitchen-ware could be updated. Also it would have been nice if there were blinds on the windows. Sometimes the sun was so bright it was hard to see while cooking dinner and the upper bedroom got full morning sun. That being said it would not stop us from returning here. We loved every minute of our stay at this beautiful location!
Manager response:
We have tightened the door knobs and had maintenance due a general inspection in order to address any other maintenance needs. We have also advised the owner of the suggestion for blinds. Thank you!

Truly stunning location, all around. Not just the beach view but the hills, trees, & flowers you can see from other windows. House is very comfortable for several people; all beds & baths were better than average vacation homes. Also, we liked that some of the bedrooms were separate from the living area so the toddler could go to bed and not wake up to us laughing all night. :) Highly recommend this house, and will stay again.

We spent a wonderful spring break at this home in Neskowin. The views were spectacular in every direction. It was a long walk to the beach, but we knew this ahead so it didn't bother us. The trail wound through a lovely nature reserve. The house had plenty of room for our family of 6. The beds were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms and a great TV and selection of DVD's to watch. The garage was a very handy place to let our wet suits dry out after a day in the ocean. We would definitely stay here again. The only downside was that there was no 'extras' provided in the house. Sometimes you just need some saran wrap or a couple of zip lock baggies and you don't want to buy a whole box while on vacation. That would have been nice. But not a big problem.

Very nice and quiet place ! The Bose sound system it was a nice addition to our entertainment time . Kudos .!

This house has a great view, which is what we come to the beach for. We were surprised there were no hangers in the closets though (who travels with hangers?), we had to live out of our suitcases because there were no dressers either. Also, the kitchen had no steak knives....! The cleanliness level was pretty good although I had cobwebs in my bedroom, from the ceiling and behind the bed. But all in all, it's a great house, very comfortable, we'd stay there again.

We had a wonderful time! The hot tub overlooking the ocean has amazing views. The whole home is very luxurious and well appointed.

Beautiful view in a quiet and private setting. The hike down to the beach was a welcome hike. It was what we were looking and hoping for.

Other than a few quirks, this is a nice property and we loved the location and view. Clean, well stocked and homey feel. Very comfortable. Could use some eating utensils.

Gorgeous, clean home with plenty of room for our girls' weekend. The view is absolutely STUNNING and we even got to see a few whales over the few days we stayed. Some of us walked down to the beach a couple of times and found the trail down through the wetlands to be just as fabulous. The three minor hiccups? Squishy beds, wifi issues, and a missing hot tub key.

Some people like their beds super soft, but for folks who deal with back pain issues, the softer beds aren't the best. We didn't leave in pain, but firmer mattresses would have been better for us.

As with many coastal towns in which we've stayed, cell phone reception isn't that great. The house has wifi, but we had to reset the router several times before we could get a great signal. Again, some people might not care if there is wifi at all, but we did and it was a bit frustrating to have to troubleshoot.

The hot tub key...so, as part of the reservation, I specifically requested that the hot tub be in good working order. We really wanted to capitalize on every aspect of relaxation that this beautiful home had to offer. Unfortunately, the hot tub key was missing the first night. Thanks to less than ideal cell phone reception, and Vacasa being busy both times we called, we didn't hear back from someone until nearly 10pm, at which point we were heading to bed. We had someone come over the next morning and they found the key in the backup lockbox - to which we didn't have a code - and made sure we could use the hot tub.

Despite those few hiccups, we still had an incredibly time and did I mention the view? Full panoramic of the coast, unobstructed by any other homes. STUNNING. We would absolutely stay here again!!

This was a very lovely house, and its neighboring areas.

My wife and I enjoyed this home for our honeymoon. The view is fantastic, very clean, decent bed, furniture, flat screen t.v. and gas fireplace. There were a few negatives that I feel you should be aware of though. This is a duplex, so your quality might change depending on weather the next door rental is rented to a decent group or not. Unfortunately, our neighbors (same management company) were a bunch of college kids who decided to party until 3:00 am. It literally sounded like they were throwing furniture around or something. When I called the management company the next day they did take note and apologized since they supposedly have a strict "no party policy", though I have no idea how they enforce that. The other major negative was lack of privacy. Those beautiful views you can see from the living room.... also are perfect for people viewing "you" since there are no drapes or blinds to close. So we were pleasantly surprised by a couple guys (frat boys from next door) walking around the front of our side of the property. The duplex does not have any demarcation to separate the properties so there is no way to prevent this invasion of privacy from occurring. Once the frat boys left it was a paradise of quiet seclusion and relaxation since no one else came Sunday night through Wednesday. My recommendation would be to rent out both sides and share this place with friends. The appliances are decent, although the stove top seems to only have the ability to be on "low" except for one burner that is stuck on "high". The master bedroom on the main floor is wonderful, especially the ability to walk out the porch and hop into the hot tub that also has a view of the ocean. There is a very nice master bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub which could fit two, and my wife just loved the sandblast level water pressure in the shower (lol, me not so much). Overall nice place. Wasn't the best first couple days, but thankfully the 3rd and 4th nights were very pleasant. Like others have said, this house is not good for small kids, the walk to the beach is long and would be best if you just drive. But for me and my wife, we didn't mind since we just enjoyed the view from the bluff and we then drove 15 minutes to Pacific City for beach time and to grab some food/groceries. Overall scores of property: CLEANLINESS/MAINTENANCE 9/10 - FAMILY FRIENDLY 7/10 - VIEW 10/10 - PRIVACY 5/10 - AMENITIES 8/10 - BEACH ACCESS 4/10

Very nice place. Comfortable furnishings. Beautiful view.

Overall a nice place to stay. Beautiful view of the ocean and surroundings, great hot tub. But 1 mile to the beach and missing a few standard amenities like silverware and glasses (they were there just not enough for 4 adults and 2 kids).
Marla N. Aug 2016
This was a great location for my bachelorette - beautiful house, amazing views, and plenty of sleeping space. The hike to the beach was very pretty - but would be difficult for children under 4.
Heather L. Aug 2016
loved it! great views, great size of unit, quiet, secluded - perfect!
Brian B. Jul 2016
Great view and property to spend time with friends. Close to Pacific and Lincoln beaches. Nice to sit in the hot tub and watch the sunset and listen to the waves.

This place was amazing. Brilliant long weekend. Like home away from home. Kitchen was fully equipped. Sunsets are in your face, beautiful. We will be back
Jennifer F. Jun 2016
We property was perfect and the location was great. It was a perfect retreat for our anniversary!
Anthony A. Apr 2016
The house was amazing and had just about everything you could ask for. The neighbors were quiet. Just so you know you have privacy but this house is a duplex which was fine for us. The views were spectacular. Walking down to the beach was a little tricky but worth the walk. The only issue we had was the propane tank was empty and couldn't not BBQ outside. Other than that the house is stocked with camping chairs and extra blankets to use outside when cold. All of the fees add up so more days stayed the better it will be.

The views from this place are absolutely flawless, regardless of the weather. Our first night, we lucked out and the sky cleared up. I spotted the Milky Way, two satellites, and a shooting star while sitting in the hot tub! It is a bit tricky to get in and out of, but a stool fetched from the garage made it much easier. Even with the foul weather for most of the weekend, the frogs from the nearby wildlife refuge provided a glorious nightly chorus to accompany our soaking.

The sofa and master bed are ludicrously comfortable. We really enjoyed lazing on the sofa, reading, and watching the surf crash. Even when it was storming, we had a glorious, clear view of the ocean. It was lovely to be so comfortable and cozy while the winds howled outside!

This place really has everything you need for a relaxing getaway, though the wireless can be a bit spotty. I would not depend on the wireless for anything important. Oh, and be sure to bring slippers--there's a no shoes policy, so it's nice to have something to keep your feet warm.

One note, though: the Blue Heron trail does *probably* provide access to the beach, but it will not *necessarily* be passable. It goes across the wetlands in the wildlife refuge, and when we attempted it, part of the path had devolved into a rather treacherous series of unmoored, floating planks. We were able to get past the set of those, but they got increasingly treacherous as we got further in. Probably during the summer, the Blue Heron trail is a lovely stroll to the beach. But in the winter, especially during a wet winter, it may not get you there. Consider driving into Neskowin and accessing the beach from there. However, it's still a really fun walk through the wetlands, so I recommend it even if it doesn't get you all the way to the beach. You may even run into some elk! (We saw quite a few).

All in all, a truly fabulous visit! We can't wait to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable and had nearly everything we needed. Great view and clean. Large space that could have facilitated a larger family.

It's an amazing relaxing place the view is beautiful I'll definitely go back there
Rebecca S. Oct 2015
We rent beach houses very often and we were happy with this one. It had a decent supply of cookware too which was nice. It was very clean too. We were concerned that it being a duplex that we would hear our neighbors but other than seeing them in the driveway coming and going, we never heard a peep thru the walls. I would say that the description to the beach access was kind of confusing and while it did state that it was a half mile walk, it should explain that it's not suitable for caring all your beach gear down with you. It is an absolutely beautiful and enjoyable hike down to the beach but we have 2 small children and it was definitely not feasible to have them walk it. Fortunately we Had backpack carriers and used them but was not able to bring any other beach gear or toys down with us. It just would've been nice to know beforehand. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Vacasa is also a very easy uncomplicated company to rent from.

Had an awesome time. House location and view was superb. Will stay again. Recommended VBRO and this location to friends and family.
Tracey S. Sep 2015
We loved our stay at this beautiful home. Located north of Lincoln city and totally peaceful but easy to get to the action. Beautifully appointed home, gorgeous ocean view. The only drawback is the beach is not easily accessed but it is easy to drive to an access point if you dont want to make the hike.

We were in awe when we arrived at the home. The view is AMAZING! And soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the view was incredible. The home was SO clean, not a speck of dust. It seemed very well taken care of. We could have stayed forever. We enjoyed that the home was not in a touristy, crowded area, but it was also fairly close to some amazing sightseeing along the Three Capes Loop, and even close to some nice dining in Lincoln City. It was very quiet. We loved the 1/2 mile walk down to the beach, and were the ONLY people strolling the beach every morning. The little market in Neskowin (we walked the 2 miles down the beach to it) had a super delicious breakfast burrito and cinnamon rolls. We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back.
Tina I. Aug 2015
The walk down the beach is very neat and the views from the unit were amaizing. The view from the hot tub is perfect for this property!
Carole B. Jul 2015
The view is simply amazing. Though a duplex we never heard the neighbors. It is not by any means your typical duplex. Very spacious and private. A great place to get away and relax.
James C. Jun 2015
We would definitely go back again
Christine B. Jun 2015
This townhouse is even better then the pictures. Every single thing we needed was available. The beds are super comfortable. The views are incredible. The NW Coast is one of the most beautiful places in the country ! I would say that this area is more for adults then a family with kids. Although you are only a short ride to Linclon City . I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here. We did have a small problem with the hot tube. I made a call to management and someone was there within the hour to fix it. This was my second booking with Vacasa and I will never look any further. Thank you so much for making our vacation so enjoyable.
Dana B. May 2015
Beautiful! Extremely clean home with very nice furnishings. Gorgeous view. The pictures don't do the home justice. My only issue was the lack of window coverings in the room with the sky lights. Lots of windows and nothing on them so don't expect to sleep in. Other then that the house was perfect. Definitely coming back.
