This place was breathtaking! Such a beautiful home. It was a quick get away for us but it couldn't have been more perfect of a location.

This house was huge. We had seven girls total & there was plenty of space for us. There were a lot of nice decor touches as well. One of the big reasons I booked this home was the air hockey table & hot tub. There were people working on the hot tub when we got there & informed us it won't get as hot as it should & about half of the jets work which was disappointing & there was no puck to be found for the air hockey table. There were a few spots that were clearly under construction but weren't really inconvenient. Overall we enjoyed the house just wish the amenities that had been advertised were able to be fully used.
Brandi, thank you for your review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment regarding the hot tub and the air hockey puck. The hot tub has been fixed by our field staff and it is now in good working condition. We have informed the local manager to drop off some more pucks for the air hockey table. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future!

This home was well appointed, clean and had wonderful decks that overlooked Douglas Lake. Gorgeous views from every window and everything you could ever need was provided. The steps from the dock to the house are steep but boating from this location was wonderful. At this location we were "out in the woods" but only 15 minutes from golfing, shopping, or attractions. The beds were comfortable, too, and that's always important to me.

Let me start out by saying that this is a nice and clean house that is pretty well stocked. There are two dining tables with plenty of seating for 10+ people. The kitchen has lots of pots and pans and dishes. The game room downstairs is nice with a pool table, air hockey table and poker table. There’s a hot tub on the lower deck which is nice too! The upper deck has a screened in porch with tables and chairs, a swing and the grill. The lake is beautiful and amazingly clean. There were some things that were disappointing. First, the beds are terrible. The upstairs master has plenty of room for a king but has a queen. All of the beds are extremely uncomfortable and squeak all night every time you move around. There is a tv in most of the bedrooms and in the downstairs game room which is nice. But there is no tv in the upstairs living room which would have been nice to have. The description of the house indicates “new steps and stairs added providing a clear path to the dock” which is absolutely accurate. However, it should be noted that it is a long and somewhat strenuous climb. Most of the path is covered in rock which makes it difficult to be steady on your feet. Some of the steps are framed in wood but have some sort of grate in them instead of wood and the grate doesn’t cover the whole step. We had several accidents of people falling on the rocks and on the grates. The description should be clear about the level of difficulty going up and down as this would not be a path someone with back or leg issues could navigate well. The dock is small but it works for jumping off into the water. The owner keeps his boat there but said we could use the ladder on it to get back on the dock which was good because there are no steps on the dock. The most disappointing thing we learned on day 2 was that the “private dock” is actually not private. The owners have agreed to allow the neighbors rental access to the dock as well. So, on day 2, two families showed up with 5 kayaks and a John boat to use the same dock we were told was private. We had rented paddle boards for a few days but after realizing that other people would be coming on and off the dock we had to return them early as we were concerned about damage. We did contact the rental company about the dock situation and did receive a small refund which we appreciate. But, we never would have rented this house had we known we would be sharing a dock.
Hi, Brandy! Thank you for your review. The steps to the shared dock have been completed, and we have verified the bed set-up is listed properly. We hope to see you again!

Our Family loved the Lake, the home was Beautiful. Getting there was a little rough, I do not recommend pulling your boat there, I would dock it first. The hike down and up to/from the boat dock was not for the elderly. But overall it was a great time and close to everything!

The home itself was very nice. The road to get to it is extremely windy. Towing a boat to it was tough.
The walk down to the dock is treacherous, as all of the reviews state. What we didn't know is that the dock is virtually unusable. It was tilted where it attached to the land, and very rocky/unstable. It really needs to be fixed.
There appears to be a bug problem in the home as we have photos of bugs in the beds and dozens of dead mosquitoes on the downstairs refrigerator's water dispenser catch.
There were 10 - 15 keys on the ring, but it appeared that only one worked to enter the front door. And none of them worked on the doors going down to the dock.
The A/C timer was set so that it did not come on one night, so we roasted upstairs. I reached-out for help, and was contacted about 12 hours later . . . . after we had already checked-out. The basement was freezing the whole time, and we could never get the main floor cool enough.
The dishwasher is barely passable. In order to get clean dishes, you have to pretty much wash them first. Waste of time.
For the price, I expected more. Honestly, for the miserably hot night, and lack of response, I feel like I should get a partial refund.
Thank you for staying with us, Jamie. We are sorry to hear the condition of the condo did not meet your expectations. Since your stay, the steps to the dock area which is a shared dock have been completed. As for the other areas of concern, we will make sure they are addressed appropriately in an effort to provide a more pleasant stay for our guests. We appreciate your feedback and hope to provide you with a more comfortable experience next visit!
