This house ended up being much better and nicer than we had expected based on the photos and description. We were two families and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house has a great layout and is well appointed. The best part is the location, which makes you feel like you're in the middle of the forest even though Main Street Frisco is just a few blocks away. You're surrounded by trees and beautiful views. The hot tub was great as well. We would definitely recommend this home, and look forward to coming back. It would be great in the summer as well. Our only suggestion would be to label the kitchen cabinets and cupboards, since it was hard to know where everything was given the number of cabinets.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback, Aaron! We have alerted the local manager of your suggestions and are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope to host you again, soon!

This review was submitted while the unit was under previous management.\n\nAmazing spot! The house is so well equipped with everything we could possibly need. And we were greeted early this morning with 3 moose! Hot tub, we'll have to use next time - too many other things to do. Thank you! We'll be back..

We brought several members of our family into town and needed a larger place to stay and host Thanksgiving. This place was the perfect location. It is a bit of a challenge to get to when there is snow on the grown as the driveway is very steep, so pay attention to the warning about that (snow tires, chains or good tires with 4-wheel drive will be required to get up the hill). Once you are up the hill though you won't want to leave. The house has everything you need for a long relaxing stay. We slept seven and a 2 year old with little problem and there would have been room for several more either in the loft or the second living room.

As a cook, and the person cooking the Thanksgiving meal, I appreciated the kitchen. It has a bit of an odd mixture of things, and if you are cooking some large meals you have to get creative, but pretty much everything you need is there. The stove and oven are large enough to cook anything you could imagine, including a 16 lb turkey. The second fridge in the garage was a nice addition for food overflow.

The beds were all reported to be comfortable, and all of the rooms have plenty of room. Each bedroom has a bathroom, with two of the rooms sharing a Jack-n-Jill. Wish the steam shower in the master had worked, but other than that the bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely laid out and well appointed.

The house provides plenty of entertainment options inside and out. There were sleds and snowshoes in the garage, the Frisco rec path is at the end of the drive for a nice hike either into the hills or into town. There is a fully functioning hot tub large enough for our entire group. Had it been nicer there are plenty of options for outdoor seating on a couple of different decks off the bedrooms and a lot of "patio" area that wraps around the backside of the house. In side there are a ton of games, books and toys spread throughout the house. Enough options for all ages to keep everyone entertained. Two large living rooms, one with a TV with cable and Fire TV and one with a gas fireplace for a more quite and relaxing experience. Both rooms have a huge amount of seating, as does the dining room table that easily sat our group.

In all this was a great property and I would not be surprised if we rent it again at some point in the future when we bring more family to town. It is well maintained and kept up nicely.

Thank you for helping make for a great holiday!

The location is off the beaten path (literally!). Moose, lynx and fox in the backyard. The house is appointed beautifully.
