I really loved the cabin, the location was great, very quiet in our area, the view from the balcony was stunning. The cabin was clean, it had all the amenities you needed. The only thing I did not enjoy was our bed in the master bedroom. It was uncomfortable and you could feel the springs. That might need to be replaced. But the spacious rooms, lighting, bathrooms all very nice and clean.
Manager response:

This house is lovely! We had an amazing time and had all the comforts of home. We loved the large living area with huge windows letting the sun filter in. The TVs had Dish and Netflix so you can hunker down for the night and watch a movie.

Just a few cons: the down stairs toilet would run constantly so we had go in a wiggle the handle to stop it. It is labeled as a pet free home and there was dog hair on the carpet in the living room and a metal food dish outside. The master bed was comfy but don’t move because with every turn it makes noise and the sheets were scratchy.

Great location isolated but not too much ... easy to find and check in.... beautiful cabin and was super clean the master bed was sooo comfy I wish they had a few things at home for comfort like coffee or foil to cook with or extra trash bags but overall highly recommend and would stay again :) was perfect for me and my wife’s anniversary get away

This home is gorgeous however we felt the cleaning company could do a better job. Some of the pots and glasses needed to be cleaned better or thrown away. Spider webs on the gorgeous light fixture above kitchen table. Garage had a horrible smell and busted pine cones which made it really not habitable for enjoying the ping pong table. Hall bathroom toilet ran and the chain kept falling off when flushing. T.V. in master bedroom didn’t work nor hooked up to cable. This review is not to discourage others from renting because the house and views are beautiful but for the homeowner to be aware of the upkeep of their property. The house is in a quiet culdesac perfect for kids. Everything else about this home was very comfortable as well as the large patio with comfortable furnishings and barbecue that faced the beautiful scenic views. This property is a true all wood cabin style home. The home is beautiful enough for me to over look the other stuff.

Pros- very quiet, beautiful pine trees and very clean inside. Nice cabin feel.
Cons- and these are fairly minor internet was slow, the 1/2 bath toilet ran the whole time.

My family and i absolutely loves this place. The views from the balcony were gorgeous and it smelled like Christmas trees every morning. the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to make some delicious meals and all the appliances were new and worked great. The washer and dryer came in handy for washing all our clothes and towels in the evening, all the rooms were comfortable and have nice size beds. The shower in the master bedroom😍 made you never want to get out so modern yet rustic and comfy every detail in this cabin has been thought out and with a lot of care. The garage had a ping pong table and some stuff for the kids to play with and a cabinet under the bar full of games for the kids to play with. Some great trails all around the neighborhood and we even got to see some deer walking around the streets. Town is only a short 2 mile drive and the lake 3 miles, the locals are friendly and really nice. For us 5 days seemed to fly by and wanted to stay longer. We would recommend any family to book this cabin it has all the comforts of home in the middle of all the beautiful nature. We would for sure book this cabin again for our future trips to shaver lake. P.S. Patrick’s Netflix account rocked!!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!!

This was a wonderful cabin! Very spacious, well maintained and was freshly remodeled. The balcony in the back was pretty back and gave us peace of mind to let the kids on it since the fence on it was firm and no room for kids or dogs to slip through it. And it was way above the ground so we knew no wild life, i.e. bears, posed a threat. All appliances were very modern and everything was included like knives, plates, silverware, towels, blankets, soap, shampoo, cooking equipment, propane, firewood (for the chimney since no open fires allowed outside). Spacious garage, and beautiful view of the forest behind us. We saw plenty of shooting stars at night. Would definitely get this one again. But will explore other cabins. And Vacasa is a wonderful agency to use for our trip! Super thorough and helpful on every detail.

Well kept cabin. Every thing you need for a trouble free stay. Inside the cabin was well thought out. Breakfast and dinner on the wraparound balcony very memorable.
