Loved the place and the location. Has everything you need and our family had a great time

This house not only lived up to but far surpassed our expectations! The privacy, the view, the hot tub, the view, the cozy fireplace, the view... did I mention the view?! Our plans were to use this as a home base while we explored the area but the house was so amazing we hardly left. We only spent 2 nights but this vacation rental is going on our permanent list and we'll definitely be back soon.

Hot tub on the cliff is worth the price of the stay alone!!!

My husband and I were here on NYE for a 3-night stay. Lovely furnishings (huge sectional with lots of pillows) in the house; a kitchen for real cooks with many pans, serving pieces, sharp knives and a lot of space to work in.

As background we have stayed in 30+ homes in Sea Ranch and as the holidays were tight, we decided to look into what Vacasa might have. We found a wonderful property with the hot tub being the star of the show. You do have to walk down a path to reach it but the owners insured that the pathway was well-lit w/motion sensor lights, well-designed level steps so it did not feel unsafe.

The only thing we could find to recommend to the owners as an improvement--truly the only thing--is the dining room chairs scrape across the tile when you move them. Not a big deal, but if one person is sleeping, you have to pick up the chair to not make a screeching noise. That's it! Spectacular experience listening to the waves crashing and the sea lions making themselves heard. One note: this is a great family home (bunkbeds upstairs for older kids) but if you are looking for privacy with another couple, you would need to share the bathroom on the main floor.

Re: the experience with Vacasa (1st time using them). When we arrived at 4PM, the house had not been cleaned or entered since the previous guests. Within 15 minutes of reaching Vacasa, they had an entire team there that whooshed in and left the home immaculate for us. Very impressive service from Vacasa!

There is absolutely nothing not to love about this home and the experience it provides. Extremely comfortable lounging and sleeping, every amenity necessary provided and then some, topped off by an extraordinarily peaceful and private coastal setting.

Beautiful views, very clean, spacious and well maintained. Close drive to town. Walking is not really an option

A hidden gem, that I hope stays hidden.
It's perfect for a secluded escape from the hustle and bustle in the city. Conveniently located a 6 minute drive from the small town center ( with great groceries) of Gualala on the 1.

This home and location is truly magical. The house sits as close to the water as you can get, and the hot tub is perched right on the bluff! The house is nice and spacious, and although only my wife and I stayed for the weekend, it was perfect. Large windows with great views, high ceilings, lots of light, the sound of sea lions and waves crashing at all times . . . what more do you need? Highly recommend to those who want to enjoy this type of nature :)

Everything about the house worked perfectly and the view is amazing. In addition to a warm house and great views, your other senses will be awakened with the crashing surf, the smell of sea, and the barking of sea lions. The fog stayed offshore and we enjoyed the sunny deck while the fire pit kept us warm.

This was an amazing house in an amazing setting. Would definitely stay there again!

This place has a really nice view and the layout of the house is built very well.

Pros
- Truly spectacular views
- The hot tub! Watching the sunset over the ocean from the hot tub was such a treat.
- Private and quiet. So relaxing to hear the ocean at night.
- Clean, comfortable, well-furnished house
- Good wifi
Cons
- We couldn't get the fireplace or the firepit to work.
- It's not walking distance to anything. Had to drive everywhere, beach, dinner, hikes, etc. You can't even just go for a walk because it's not particularly safe to walk on Hwy 1.
- Maybe a little expensive considering how remote it is.
