This property backs directly up to Donner Summit Canyon (part of Donner Memorial State Park) with miles of protected wilderness. In the summer, enjoy a barbecue, dine al fresco, and relax out on the furnished decks surrounded by magnificent nature views. Summit Creek trails and bouldering are just a short walk out the back door, and it’s only a three-minute bike ride to West End Beach, a 10-acre day-use beach park on Donner Lake. The park has shaded picnic areas and barbecue sites, tennis and volleyball courts; a children’s playground; kayak, SUP and paddleboat rentals, swimming and fishing areas, and boat parking, for a nominal daily admission fee. Explore the local hiking and mountain biking trails, fishing, birding, golfing, and the rock climbing paradise of Donner Summit!
