Great Seawall location with shared pool, hot tub, & Gulf views
Bright and cheery on the inside, and surrounded by manicured grounds, pools, and hot tubs on the outside, this fabulous Galveston vacation rental offers spectacular views of the Gulf from a private balcony, making this a vacation with no shortage of great views and amenities!
Located four miles southwest of Galveston proper, the charming Victorian Resort is a quick stroll to the Seawall and the beach, and near favorite Galveston attractions like Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, and the Lone Star Flight Museum.
This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo is serene with tropical accents. Curl up on the floral-print sofa for some TV time, or head out to the balcony with a beverage and a good book. There's WiFi throughout the condo for Netflix and email access.
Although you'll want to eat out often (who can resist delicious Gulf/Creole cuisine?) you can prepare simple meals in your kitchenette complete with a small stovetop, a mini-fridge, a dishwasher, and a microwave. Additions like a blender and a coffee maker make breakfast at home a snap! Eat at the dining table set for four, and keep the cook company at the two-top breakfast bar.
The bedroom has a queen bed for ultra comfort and privacy. An additional twin in the hallway between the main living space and the bedroom is the perfect sleeper for a child, and the sofa pulls out into a queen bed, making this a comfortable home for a total of five (four adults max, please).
Take it slow and easy here. There are three pools and two hot tubs to choose from, a fitness/game room, and pretty gardens to wander through. It's a three-mile drive to the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier with carnival-style games and rides, plus fun eats for the family. Ride bikes, scooters, or roller blade the Seawall. Access fishing piers along the shoreline, or wander the beach looking for crabs or the next perfect wave.
Take a beach vacation like no other with a stay in this Texas vacation rental.
* The Victorian Condo Association will collect a Facility Access Fee from all bookings to cover parking and pool access. The fee is $20 for reservations up to 15 days and $40 per month over 15 days.
This was a great place to stay. Very clean. Nice location.
This unit is as far from the ocean as you can get. The entrance was poorly lit and the was disappointed in the outside appearance of the unit. I felt the spectacular view of the ocean was very misleading.
Not the fanciest but served its purpose.
we had an awesome time...definitely staying again...great amenities..great location..friendly staff...yes it is a little outdated but I'm B.O.I...so this was prefect...like I said ..we'll be back next summer..if not in December for Dickens On The Strand....
This place is a great location, but in need a severe upgrade. Everything was grungy, old and dirty. My son took off his shoes when we arrived and when he sat down the bottom of his feet were black. Too many things to point out, but almost everything needs to be replaced or upgraded. The only decent thing was the new digital door lock.
The property location was great, however, the condo needs refreshing, paint, etc. the bath room was moldy and the carpet was dirty.
We're very sorry the home wasn't in perfect condition when the guest arrived. We pride ourselves in preparing our homes for their arrival. The property manager will have a meeting with the owner to discuss the condo's decor, and address the bathroom and carpet. Thank you.
Its a good place for family and individuals. Very quiet and peaceful. As I stayed in a similar condo like this before so the appearance was not a surprise. My only issue with this condo was the overall location and view of this specific condo. The condo is located all the way in the back and our view was of the parking lot, other condos, and somewhat of the view of the ocean. Overall, the condo was great. I had a great time there. Vacasa was nice enough to leave a gift for us. We really appreciate the gift and will be booking with them again pretty soon.
We stayed here for 2 nights. 2 adults and 2 kids. Our room was comfortable, clean, and functional. Location is fantastic, you can walk to the beach and the fishing pier. Make sure to eat at Kitty's seaside cafe at least once. We could not have asked for a better stay... we only wish we could've stayed longer!
Hallway door and many walls were peeling off their paint. No door to the freezer. Stove dirty and not working well: the coils kept popping out of place and the heat was uncontrollable. Luckily, the manager changed the degree indicator on the stove buttons .The cabinet was falling apart. The sliding door and mirror tracks were full of dirt. The carpet had many stains. The kitchen, hallway and bathroom tiles should be scrubbed.
One good point, the shower worked well.
Bad odors were coming from the trash container: this condo is situated second to the end of the hall and close to the back back yard.
I have learned a lesson: never reserve and pay before seeing a place.
The place is dated and could use a little facelift!
This is my second time staying in the condos at the Victorian and both times have been so much better than staying in a hotel. Love the experience and we will be returning!
The Victorian is located right between a Walmart - perfect for beach supplies you might have forgotten - and a Kroger. There's a handful of quick food options just next door and the beach is right across the road (and not too crowded, even over the 4th of July weekend!)
Would highly recommend. We were four adults, and while it was a bit cozy there was more than enough room for all of us. The condo itself is a bit "beach worn" - ie. not updated - but it added to the charm and everything, while a bit old, was in good condition.
this flat is in the perfect location. we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning before summer's end
It was located directly across from the beach and we had a wonderful view from the balcony. Really enjoyed our stay
We attended the RGC -Blue Knights conference that was hosted at theVictorian. It was convenient and clean. Gardens were beautiful for pictures. Restaurant was good and convenient.
Every thing was fine. Remotes didn't work, but that made it more relaxing anyway. It is a bit cramped, for four is fine, six might be pushing it????

Cheaper than staying at the check in price
Crystal Beach, take ferry to Port Bolivar- free and you can find plenty of hermit crabs!
Bishop Palace to feel and understand Galveston's history, family of 4 $37
Ocean Star Museum, great for kids a learning opportunity to teach them about science and all the things oil does for this country and what it makes, family of 4 $25
WIth Walmart being so close it is really convenient if you forget something
Take time to drive "downtown" the antique shops are great and the kids can get something different.
You pay for what you get, there is nothing wrong with this property. It is clean and safe. Depending on your unit the furniture may be a little outdated, but your not in the room much, only to lay your head down for sleep. You can get a " more comfortable" place to stay you will have to pay more elsewhere. We stayed for six days and we enjoyed every minute of it. Lastly the Pier 21 Theater, there is a discount brochure in lobby. The Great Storm is something everyone needs to know about Galveston, a quick 27 minute movie. Another opportunity to teach kids about science, weather, water, and earth's crust gets them thinking.
Our family loves the beach!! This location is a short walk to the beach, which makes it a great location. Area attractions (Pleasure Pier) are within a 5-10 minute drive away. The beds are comfortable. The space was large enough to accommodate our family of 4. Would like to visit again soon!
I was born and raised in Galveston. I stayed here when I went home for my class reunion. This is on the best side of town ie..safest. Yes, it's a drive to the Strand district and the Pleasure Pier, but it's worth it.
And the room is very nice. (Born On Island)
