Adjoining, oceanfront townhomes with two private hot tubs

This beautiful oceanfront Neskowin vacation rental includes two halves of an enormous duplex house. With two private hot tubs, amazing ocean views, plenty of entertainment options, and space for as many as 16 guests, you and your loved ones will have the vacation of a lifetime here!

Located about a mile north of the small town of Neskowin, this home is perched on a hilltop overlooking the sea. You can access the beach via a half-mile trail near the house, or you can drive just south into town (or to any of the other fantastic cities along the Northern Coast) for easier access.

This particular listing includes both halves of a duplex. Both of these homes are entirely self-contained and near-identical in layout and amenity offerings. You can also rent either unit separately through their own listings, Proposal Point and Humpback View at Proposal Point. Renting both halves of this home together is a fantastic way to enjoy a spectacular vacation with your extended family, multiple smaller families, a group of close friends, or any other gathering.

With each half of this home containing a full kitchen, living room, deck, hot tub, laundry area, three bedrooms, and two and a half bathrooms, everyone will have plenty of space to spread out! In total, with six bedrooms, this home can accommodate a large group of 16 visitors (14 adults maximum, please).

Inside each duplex you will find a spacious and open living area with enormous windows that look out over the ocean. This would be an amazing place to look for whales, stormwatch, or gaze out at the sunset. Settle into the cozy sofa and start a fire in the gas fireplace for extra warmth. There is also a flatscreen TV where you can watch some cable or connect to your Netflix account. Around the house you will also have WiFi access, board games, and even foosball tables in each upstairs loft to keep everyone busy.

Full kitchens feature beautiful countertops, plenty of cabinet space, and all the appliances and cooking tools you may need to prepare meals for everyone. Because you will have two full kitchens, you can even prepare large, festive meals such as Thanksgiving dinners here without any trouble at all! With a dining room table and small breakfast bar in each house, guests can sit down together and enjoy a home-cooked meal.

The main level of each duplex includes a convenient half bathroom and a laundry room. The master bedroom of each home contains a spacious king-size bed, deck access, and an attached bathroom with a shower and a separate jetted bathtub. Upstairs, each home has two more bedrooms and one more full bathroom, which means together this house can sleep 14-16 guests.

Outside from the living rooms you will find a large deck area that faces the ocean. Better yet, each half of this home has its own private hot tub, so there is plenty of space for everyone to sit and enjoy a relaxing soak in the bubbling water.

If you feel like walking to the beach, simply take a stroll to the cul-de-sac one street over, then follow the Blue Heron Trail about half a mile down onto the lovely stretch of coastline! After a refreshing walk on the beach or a morning spent building sandcastles and beachcombing, head down into Neskowin and get lunch at one of the few eateries. Try the wood-fired pizza at Cafe on Hawk Creek! There is also a golf course in town, in case anyone prefers to spend their free time on the greens instead of on the beach.

Neskowin is a small but very friendly town. If you feel like heading to a larger coastal city, drive south about 20 minutes to popular Lincoln City, which offers two more golf courses, a casino, plenty of souvenir shops, a huge variety of restaurants, grocery stores, an outlet mall, and much more. North of Neskowin about 10 minutes you will find Pacific City and the Nestucca Bay, so feel free to take a horseback ride on the beach, visit the Pelican Brewery, or go crabbing or boating in the bay. Whether you explore this diverse stretch of coastline or stay right here in charming Neskowin and take photos of the iconic Proposal Rock, everyone will find something to love here!

Come stay at this spacious oceanfront Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental and enjoy a fantastic beach getaway with your loved ones!

We spent my hubby’s 40th birthday renting both homes and had a great time! The place was clean and most household items you’d need were a quick search away. Hot tubs were the highlight with amazing views! The short hike to the beach was perfect for a Saturday afternoon. The trail head (Blue Heron) is around the cul de sac and easy enough if you’re a mobile adult.

This home could use some major TLC. We travel to different places on the Oregon coast and this was the first time we have been disappointed. Calling this home Ocean Front is very misleading. The access to the beach is not ideal for elderly or children.

There were so many things not working it made it hard to enjoy and relax at this home. What you get for the amount of money seems very unfair. We definetly felt taken advantage of after arriving at this home.
Manager response:
We are sorry to read this guest was displeased with their rental. We were unable to find anything not working in the home, the carpets have been cleaned, and a brand new hot tub was just installed. The beach access is a beautiful walking path, and the home has a beautiful beachfront view. Thank you!

The house was beautiful and had amazing view. It must have been vacant for sometime as there were spider webs and spiders throughout the house and dust. It was very quiet and surrounding neighbors were friendly. The heron trail was too steep to walk to ocean

We had a great time. House and location we're great.

The view is absolutely beautiful. Sitting outside in the lounge chairs or while sitting in the hot tub, watching the ocean, and listening to the waves: nothing compares. Although it's not actually on the beach, there is a 1/2-3/4 mile walk. It was a scenic trek though, and the grandparents made it as well, but were winded on the way back. The hikers of the group loved it!

The red couch is faded and stained, the yard is grown over and overall the house could use some TLC. It wasn't a place I felt I could relax. The house provides information on millipedes that inhabit the house and informs you housekeeping picks them up and takes them outside. But while you stay there, you'll need to live with them. The trail to the beach is not ideal for small children or adults unsure on their feet.
Manager response:
We are sorry to see this guest did not feel they could relax here. The owner is aware of the millipedes and is the one that posted the sign as they are not interested in spraying or bug bombing the area. Thanks!

We convinced our family to come here to the coast for the first time and they trusted us with the choice of home that we rented. After weeks of searching, we couldn't find anything to top this property and we were thrilled by our experience here. Stunning views of the ocean with a lovely, big greatroom for talking and eating in. The hike down to the beach was alright for most of our party, but is too steep for those with limited mobility. That was a bit of a bummer, but we found another beach close by that we could drive to and spend the day together as a family. All in all, a home run and we're excited to come back again.

We had a blessed time. The location is perfect and the amenities great. I will recommend this house anytime.

Overall, a good experience. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable. Neskowin is kind of an out-of-the -way location though. Not a lot of touristy things really close (except the casino).

This was a fantastic property with a great kitchen. We had 4 families with teenagers and there was plenty of space and places to hang out. Definitely worth it!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is incredible, and the property very comfortable and quiet. Everyone had a great time. The Blue Heron trail down to the beach was convenient and fun, too! We would definitely consider this location again for future beach trips with friends!

While this home in a quite community offers incredibly gorgeous views of the ocean, has large rooms and master baths, we experienced a few drawbacks that should easily be remedied by the owners and maintenance. On the 45050 side, the jets in the Master Bedroom garden tub did not operate. The separate shower area lacks a window covering and maintenance/lawn crews could easily see inside as could anyone visiting the property next door. Most of the jets in the hot tub did not operate and one of the windows in the upstairs bedrooms did not operate. While the kitchen is open and spacious, the ice dispenser was broken and the kitchen lacked in serving dishes, cooking utensils and glasses. On the 45060 side, which was far better appointed, we encountered mice, several large spiders, and millipedes inside the home. In the master bedroom the window screens were missing. We located them in the garage and installed them to utilize bedroom windows.

If renting only one side, I would recommend 45060 as it had more seating for larger groups and more amenities. However, overall, once the issues are remedied, I would recommend renting the entire property as overall the homes are beautiful and the area is especially lovely.

Nearby Neskowin beach is absolutely beautiful. However, the beach is difficult to access if anyone in your party has mobility issues. After a short drive, there's a long walk from the boardwalk to get to the ocean and the path near the beach house is not for conducive to non-athletic or disabled persons. The local café, Café on Hawk Creek, serves scrumptious food and the Neskowin Trading Company is a delightful, albeit small, well stocked store with bakery and deli goods and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Both the store and Café are located near beach parking.
Manager response:
The hot tub is scheduled for repair so guests can better enjoy it. Pests are a very normal occurrence in the area, and the Property Manager deals with them as they come. The kitchenware tends to get moved between units as guests stay in them, and we will do our best to make sure they are all placed back where they belong before a new reservation begins.

Great property, great location, but there is a need for these properties to be cleaned professionally. Dust, spiders and even a little mouse.
Karen P. May 2016
Great property! We had both sides and it worked out great. We had all adults and no children. I was happy to find a property with so many King and Queen Beds. It felt like home, the house was well equipped with lots of kitchen utensils, plenty of blankets, towels, lawn chairs and the hot tub was hot and ready for us. And there was gas in both barbecues. That was a big plus, as we love to barbecue!! I know they are trying to sell lots around the place but for now the place is totally secluded by itself. We loved it. We made several trips to the beach down the manicured trail. I was glad we were able to walk/run long distances on the beach without having to climb rocks. The views were amazing and sitting in the hot tub at night was relaxing as we viewed the show case of stars.

We needed a space that could accommodate our large group, and while it was nice that everyone got their own bed or futon, getting back and forth between the two sections was more difficult than we expected. There was also an odd discrepancy in the amount and quality of amenities between the two units.

Love renting thru Vacasa, love the late check out option when no one is renting the house the following day.

This place was ideal for our large New Year's gathering-spacious and classy with all needed amenities and a breathtaking view. We will definitely come back. Thank you!!
