The Historic Queen Anne is a five-bedroom duplex that sleeps up to ten guests. Built right after the great Bandon fire of 1936, which destroyed all but a few structures in town, the Historic Queen Anne is located in a picturesque, historic part of town on scenic Beach Loop Road. The ocean-facing deck, complete with a gas grill, offers great views of Bandon’s famous Face Rock and the Oregon Coast's beautiful sunsets. There are whitewater ocean views from both outside and inside the north and south rentals. Rent one or both, depending on the size of your group!
What's nearby:
Walk down to the sand via a few local staircases including one in the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge, and another in the neighboring Kronenberg County Park, both only a couple blocks away. Just a little over a mile north, find local art galleries, museums, shops, and restaurants alongside the Coquille River. Here you can also charter a fishing boat or boat tour. And less than a half-mile south, relax with a picnic lunch and watch for migrating gray whales off the Face Rock scenic viewpoint (particularly during the winter and spring Whale Watch Weeks), or hike the well-kept trail down to the beach.
