This is a great location for exploring the city. The downside is that it is very loud. With sirens and hearing all of the street noise. If you are looking for quiet this may not be the spot for you. That is really the only downside - its steps from the pier and Pike's place. Great for a group getaway to Seattle!

perfect for two couples---two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms. the condo is located on floor 16 (elevator), side unit with windows on all sides for excellent views of the harbor, plus an outside porch. it is a 10 minute walk to the public market, 15 minute walk to the monorail (chihuly/space needle). a $6 uber takes you to the starbucks reserve roastery, $6 uber to clipper ferry port. next door (Von's) is a great place to eat. highly recommend taste of seattle food tour through the market. the 24 hour security was very nice. uber from the airport (third floor parking garage---app pick up area) was $35. will definitely stay again---perfect!

My husband and I enjoy traveling and prefer renting apartments as our primary housing while doing so. I share that because we know what we prefer in a rental and that is the perspective that I write this review in. I hope it will be helpful to you. We would definitely rent this apartment again! This unit is as advertised. It is a true split plan two bedroom, two bath. The master has an ensuite. There are outstanding water views from living room, kitchen and master. We find having a washer and dryer in the apartment as a huge advantage as well as the walk-in closets. We don't always need that much closet space but I love to unpack my clothes so it was really nice to have and it gives us room for the empty luggage. There is a sofa bed in the living room which does need the mattress cover provided for comfort. Note: To use the sofa bed be aware that the coffee table needs to be moved. Although they smartly chose a portable style table, the glass top is heavy and needs two people to move. Harbor Steps is a great location! It is perfect for walking in the downtown area, great access to the waterfront, museums, restaurants and local pubs. We had several friends renting all over the city and we all agreed Harbor Steps was the best location. A beautiful bonus: There is a "mingle room" available to renters. It is a great space for gatherings. If you want it for a private event, be sure to contact Sea and Sky ahead of time to schedule it because the space is frequently used by the apartment owners. Yes, it is that nice. It has a great kitchen, entertainment area with pool table, stereo equipment and a huge outside patio which overlooks the courtyard garden. The room is attached to the indoor pool, fitness room and shower area. You can use the room casually anytime it hasn't been reserved for a private event. We noticed people from the building enjoying it as a break in their day. There are only two issues I would share - the air conditioning and the window coverings. There are two large air conditioners, one is in the master and one in the living room. They are more than adequate for the master and the main space of the apartment, but a bit short on fully cooling the second bedroom. They do provide fans for that bedroom which did help to do the job but you should be aware if air control is super important to you and your group. The air conditioner fans are a bit noisy, but we found it wasn't problem for us. Again not a deal breaker and lets face it- you are in Seattle where the heat is but a few days of the year. The window coverings- I only mention them because some of them are in need of repair and you don't want to feel responsible for them. I am sure the owner will be repairing them soon. Bottom line- rent this apartment, you won't be sorry. Hope you enjoy Seattle, this apartment and all of your travels.

My family used an apartment on the 16th floor for a reunion as “home base” along with a number of other facilities in Seattle. The view and convenient location of this unit could not be beat. Close to restaurants, walking to the market and the Sky Needle and shopping...fantastic. Our only regret was the internet didn’t work and the air conditioner struggled to keep up. But we had exceptionally sunny hot weather so I am not complaining!

We enjoyed staying at the convenient apartment with its glorious harbor view, great parking garage, bathroom amenities, and all necessary kitchen equipment. Good Pre-trip info and helpful Concierge were a plus.

My husband and I rented this property for our wedding party to stay in and to get ready in on the day of. It was beautiful, well-appointed, and the views were spectacular! Check-in and -out were smooth and easy, and our guests loved their stay.

The apartment was in a great location with a wonderful view of the harbor and big wheel. It was relaxing to just sit and watch the boats coming and going. We used the hot tub quite a few times. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go.

Our stay at Harbor Steps was effortless and the Apartment was beautiful and comfortable. The location was wonderful and this was a great home base for my family and I as we got reacquainted with my hometown. I would and have recommended this Apartment to anyone who is traveling to or through Seattle. 2 blocks easy walk to the waterfront and Ivars and 3 blocks walk to Pike Place Mkt. The Apartment had breath taking view of the Eye and Ferry's on Elliott Bay and was nicely appointed. We had an amazing time and a comfortable stay.

The apartment is perfectly located and with all the things convenient. But one thing needs to be improved, the window shades are not so good as we couldn't sleep in complete dark. Also, it's little bit noisy for people who has sleep problems.
Our second stay in this lovely condo. Breathtaking view, couldn't get enough of just looking out at the Puget Sound and the ferries going back and forth to Bainbridge and Bremerton. Directions for arrival and checkout were concise and understandable. Condo is in a great location, close to everything. Very clean, well equipped, and with a quick walk to Pike's Market for fresh groceries, meals in the lovely kitchen were a snap to prepare. Underground secure parking. We're very active and walk most everywhere, but also drove to further away areas or took public trans. We walked to Pike's Market daily, ferried to Bainbridge, Bremerton to drive to Port Ludlow. Ferried Mukilteo to Whidbey to see Ft. Casey. Just 4 block walk to fun Seattle Underground tour in Pioneer Square. Daily coffee next door at Fonte (do that!!), an excellent little place that also does a happy hour 3-6PM (they close at 6). Dinner at our favorite, The Brooklyn. Went to the Space Needle. Drove to Issaquah to see the salmon run, walked to Lake Union to see the wooden boats, lunch on the water, back via trolley. Lovely condo to return to each day. Can't wait to return!
This was the perfect place to stay and will now be our go-to-spot in Seattle. Just one block from the start of Pikes Market place. It was convenient and fun for my friends and I to walk over, pick up the freshest seafood, cook in their well equipped kitchen and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets. It didn't rain at all when we stayed, but if it had it wouldn't have mattered. It was so restful to sit and watch the ferries go by or the giant ferris wheel which was almost right in front of our window. The property was as pictured and described and well-maintained and very clean. Check in and out was easy and took the matter of seconds. A couple of minor issues: parking was a bit of a labyrinth, one of the vertical blind slats fell off easily, and the noise level from freeway when sliding door was open. I really only mention these because this is a review. What I really feel is that this place was worth every penny and the view and location added immensely to our vacation experience. I would highly recommend.
