We are a family of three- my wife, myself and our 18 y.o. son. We stayed at this apt. in the Newmark Tower 07/12/- 07/19/2021. The location is perfect- literally. There are so many walkable attractions- the apt. is across the street from Pikes Place market which is full of vendors, stores, shops, and an endless variety of food. The Seattle Art museum is one block, the Seattle Aquarium is 2 blocks (down the steps) and the Space needle/Chihuly museum and museum of pop culture are in one park which is a 1 mile walk. There is an amazing array of restaurants which are walkable. All from the lobby. The view from the apt. is a spectacular view of Puget Sound with floor to ceiling windows. The apt. is a 2/2 with 2 comfortable queen beds. There is a small walkout balcony. There are no carpets which helps greatly with cleanliness. The bathrooms work well. The kitchen is workable but if you plan on cooking (we did not)- the cookware is minimal and aged. One of the bedrooms is immediately adjacent to the LV and separated by sliders which close about 95%. The w/d work well. The internet was immediate, continuous, uninterrupted, and fast. There is no A/C (like most of Seattle) so watch the temps when you plan on staying. They recently had a very unusual span of days in the 100s and I would imagine it would be stifling without A/C. The heat had left by the time we arrived. There are two additional perks to the property which are quite amazing. One is the locked dedicated parking space which is like a box of platinum bars in this area in Seattle. The other is there is a Target inside the building. You can shop at Target without ever leaving the building and the design is such that you can take your full cart from Target to the apt. -you just return the empty cart to the designated area after you unload. Amazing !! The Target has a decent food selection as well as a beer/wine store and the rest of the usuals. Our only issue with the apt. was the TV(s). There are two- one in the LV and one in the master. We could not get them to work. It appears that the apt. does not have cable channels (maybe one channel) but mostly relies on streaming from Amazon and Netflix. There are no instructions provided on using the TV. I did the usual re-boot and tried a variety of ideas but could only muster one cable channel the entire week. I did call the VACASA main #. I was told a 'repair ticket' would be made and that someone would call me to arrange a repair/instruction. That never happened. I did not pursue it- didn't need to spend my time trying to get TVs to work but be aware if you like to 'watch the games' or you have kids who you are planning on entertaining with TV I would clarify this prior to arriving. I think it would be very helpful if the owners would simply leave typed instructions in the unit and be very clear on the property description as to whether there are the usual many cable channels or just one plus streaming Netflix and Amazon. Two points for visitors regarding the area which have nothing to do with the apt. or building. If you have not been to Seattle it is VERY hilly. walking can be strenuous depending on which direction you are headed. There is also a very, very large homeless/ mental illness/ drug addiction problem in the entire area. We are from a city so are not unaccustomed to navigating these issues. We only had one aggressive encounter in our entire week but the problem is much larger than it used to be and the police presence in the area is very minimal. We had a wonderful time and would stay in this apt. every time we visit Seattle.

We were able to walk to almost every where we went. The place had just about every thing that was needed for our stay.

CONS - Closet door fell off it's track,,,the Bitta water pitcher filter should have been changed...the toilet seat in Master BR was loose...need to let guess know that the trash goes to the 4th level...the vacuum cleaner didn't start...need to provide instructions for use of TV ...
PROS - the view was great...good location...very clean and comfortable...check in was well executed and Doug was wonderful. Will use this service again.

We vacationed in Seattle for a week with our two daughters. The condo was beautiful, spacious, and had a great view of the city, sound, and the Public Market. With parking underneath the building, we were able to easily navigate the city and take day trips to Mount Rainier and Portland.

We were a party of 4, 2 couples, in for 1 week, ending May 25th. The condo served our purposes perfectly. With Pike Place right across the street and Target downstairs, each person could purchase his own delicacies for each meal. This helped reduce the restaurant toll a bunch. But with so many great places around, we still ate out a lot. The condo was clean and cool when we arrived, and the neighbors were super quiet. Now to be picky, here's some things to improve on: The ice maker in the fridge did not work. A major part (the chute from the ice mold to the dispenser port) was gone! We used the ice trays that were provided. We used the blinds by lowering them each time we went out to keep the sun's heat at bay. That effort worked even on an 82*F day. We also kept the doors open about a foot every time we went out. That made the condo cool when we returned. You should add 2 door stops for each door to keep them still when they are open. By managing the blinds and the doors, we were able to keep the condo cool enough to close the doors at night, and that kept the street noise way down. The Soundview Suite is definitely a 5-star property !

Great stay for our group of four. Pictures matched exactly to what we got when we arrived. The view was incredible and the amenities were nice to have (pool/hot tub/gym). Only issue was that there was no central air, however, they provided fans which kept the condo cool enough during our stay. Would definitely recommend this place!

The view is stunning. It's like waking up in a Seattle poster every morning. You look directly onto the Pike Place Market and the famous sign. You also have an incredible view of the Great Wheel and Elliott Bay. People watching can be done from the living room! The Market is a short jaunt and the Target store is directly downstairs! Although there were minor issues with the condition such as a faulty shower door, Id recommended this condo to everyone and I would definitely stay here again and again
