Awesome views, very quiet, relaxing. Short walk to town and a short walk to watch the sunset

This place exceeded our expectations. It’s located right on a quiet little cove with a breathtaking view & amazing places to walk, explore & climb along the shore right outside the back door. The condo is a part of a small complex (we were pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t part of a sprawling row of condos) in a neighborhood of a few other small condos & cute well kept beach homes. If you walk to the end of the street it dead ends & there is a sign for a path you can take to go whale watching. There are park benches etc along the way & the sunsets are amazing. Lots of lava rock to climb on & tide pools etc. The town of Depoe Bay is close to Lincoln City & all the local attractions & best beaches- but it’s a lot more upscale & less congested than anywhere we saw. This condo is an older sort of no-nonsense place, nothing fancy-but super clean & comfortable with a beachy theme. It was perfect for us & our 4 kids ages 5 to 16. The master bedroom has a beautiful view of the ocean & the bed is very comfortable. We kept the windows open at night & loved the sound of the waves. There was a little noise from traffic in town but not much a night which was nice (we weren’t there on the weekend though) We saw whales right from our bedroom window & saw them every day we were there on our walks which made it magical. Our teenage girls loved the little shops they could walk to & we loved it was only a five minute walk from one end to the other so they were easy to find. We ate at a place called Sea Hag & the chowder & fish n chips there were to die for. Also The Horn Public house has great food & a really pretty view of the little harbor. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need, even a crock pot & having a washer & dryer was very helpful.
