We so enjoyed our time as a family at the cabin! It’s in a great location! We have stayed here a few times and our girls ask when we can go back to the cabin again! They have a lovely master suite as well as accommodations for kids to rest and enjoy! The home is well taken care of, the kitchen is easy to find your way around and the trees are beautiful. It is a delight in the summer or winter! Thank you!

The layout of the house is great and it sits next to open space. Lots of counter space for cooking and big living room for our toddler to play. The play structure in the yard was really a nice touch. A few things we were surprised by:

No one to plough the driveway or shovel the walkway to the door. It's up to the renter. This surprised us and was pretty inconvenient.

The heat was off when we got to the house. It took most of the afternoon before we took our jackets off inside.

No instructions for the house or how to check out. Almost every house I've rented has a binder or lost of instructions somewhere in the house. We could not find one and it lead to confusion.

Tv didn't work and couldn't get cable to work at all. Pilot light on gas fireplace was out and we had no instructions how to light it. Some electrical outlets didn't work in the kitchen. The overhead light in the kitchen was burned out. It was over a day before someone was able to come try and fix things; only the pilot light was lit but he wasn't able to solve the other issues.

We love the location and space in the house but may not rent this particular house again.
Manager response:
Hi, Kara! We apologize for the issues you encountered during your visit here. The driveways are plowed; guests will need to shovel the walkways and edge of the driveway if it is snowing. We have verified the fireplace is fully functional, and we are getting the electrical outlets inspected. Check-out instructions have been added to the home for guest use. We appreciate you staying with us and hope to see you again!

- very quiet cabin in the woods
- very secluded
- liked the back patio and has a sunsetter cover to block the sun
- spacious

One item that needs to be addressed is that the Sunsetter shade cover does not have the pole attachment to extend it out. We were able to use it, but you have to turn the gear section manually. It is somewhat difficult as it takes ~30 minutes by hand, and your hand/wrist gets tired. Once extended, it takes slight longer than 30 minutes to retract it. Poles for this are less than $30 on Amazon and someone should buy one for this cabin.

The house was exactly as described, we had a wonderful time there. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood with plenty of room.

the home was spacious, had an AWESOME set of kid stuff (though we left them at home), and a nice open kitchen. it lacked a standard coffee pot, hair dryer, etc but all in all we had a wonderful stay. the AC is a great value add, and the master bedroom was fantastic! the home also backs up to timber-land and has a nice hiking trail within a block.

We love this house, it’s great for a family with kids. We came there for a second time already and plan to come again in the future!

We several families stayed in this great place for a long weekend in August. The house is very convenient, looks brand new or refurbished, house layout is very convenient. Home layout is also great, kids loved the small playground on the territory and lot’s of toys at home.
There is a lake with warm water and sandy beach in Arnold in about 10 minutes drive from home, which is perfect for small kids. Verizon phones work well there, while AT&T has no coverage there.
Overall we loved this place and will probably come back there again.
