This rental has great potential (location, charm, amenities), but MUCH must change if we would ever consider renting in the future. Be sure to speak with a direct property manager or owner in the area before you rent.

1. Pictures did not accurately advertise the exact unit we were renting.

2. Entering home, on front door was a message that said "Please Pardon our Appearances. Renovations taking place." We had no information about this prior.

3. We showed up to an ERROR message on the hot tub (I was able to figure out and get to function, but filters likely needed to be changed still). No service to hot tub had taken place prior.

4. Private road/drive (VERY steep and windy) was not plowed after a major snow/ice storm!! This point was inexcusable and very unsafe for the number of families/others renting at the 4 units. I also personally shoveled every step accessing the units (close to 100 stairs ...).

5. Garbage shed at top of drive was overflowing from trash (not removed the entire 4 days we rented).

6. Lost almost all water access to the home (slight trickle in bathrooms) on day 2, but nothing to kitchen sink or dishwasher. Never fixed.

7. TV had a cable box with no cable access.

With all of this frustration, we still enjoyed the area and condo overall and appreciated Jennifer's (our property manager I believe?) help with trying to rectify the situation. But, the problem solving was disorganized, no workers/staff on call nor available for her when she tried them, and the process was generally ineffective. I needed Triple A to pull my car from the side of the road on the second day due to such horrific road conditions that remained unplowed. A plow eventually came one time in four days even though it snowed every day we were there.

Again, much potential for this property that was overshadowed by poor care and regular servicing.

We are sorry to read you experienced some frustrations with your stay. We feel the pictures of the home are very accurate as they were only taken a few months ago. The renovations mentioned were to the outside, back patio of the condo complex; the work has stopped for winter, and the sign has been removed. The hot tub has been drained and cleaned, and the filters have been cleaned as well. The plow company did their best to keep up with the snow and freezing rain we experienced over a 65 hour period, and we apologize if you found the situation stressful. Trash removal is scheduled once a week. We are very sorry about the water situation that occurred due to the well being drained; we were advised it should refill within a day or two, and we did schedule a water delivery when that did not occur. The cable wires were damaged just prior to your stay and are being worked on. We hope the compensation offered for the inconveniences you encountered shows our desire to care for our guests and provide them with the best possible experience. Thank you for staying with us!

Very comfortable, the hot tub, sauna, and fireplace are great. Bedrooms separated on two floors. Very easy to walk dogs.
