The home was well maintained and the layout was good so everyone had their own space if they wanted privacy. Location was good with easy access to the beach and attractions

We stayed in this property September 2019, and were told we were only the 2nd guests ever to stay here as it was a new to Vacasa property. I’m not sure how long it had been since the place had been inhabited, but it was very stale, the basement apartment smelled badly of moldy/mildew. There were a few minor items in disrepair on the main level, but the cleanliness of property on our arrival left something to be desired. We also had to call the police on about our 2nd night there on one of the neighbors for a domestic dispute. They seemed to be permanent tenants, not travelers, although I can’t say for sure. After I swept, vacuumed, lit a candle, and wiped down surfaces the main and upper floor was tolerable for us. However, no one could stand to stay in the basement because of the mildew smell.
Manager response:
