Location was perfect for our small family gathering. Peaceful and quiet. The house was nice and had plenty of space. Was clean enough. There are certain things I’d keep in mind if renting with small children, owners have lots of nick knacks out it felt homey but if you have small curious ones, keep an extra on them. Kitchen has plenty of silverware, cups, glasses and plates. I took my own utensils that I use all the time. While there is enough to get by, some are in need of replacing and had to be cleaned before using. The dishwasher soap was totally empty upon our arrival, I called it took about 2 hours to get some delivered then they brought 3 pellets for a 3 night stay. Nice washer/ dryer but then again no detergent, I always take my own when I travel because I am picky. 4 toilets 4 full rolls of toilet paper, plus 4 half to 1/4 full. Not a problem for us, there again I always travel with extra, same with paper towels we brought extra. I basically had to wash anything I took out of cupboard to use. Lots is spices but here again not sure how long they’ve been there. Beds were comfortable and plenty of beautiful quilts and blankets if needed. The dining table and chairs are plenty but we only used a few because some were not very sturdy or comfortable. Internet worked great as most cell service was non existent for about 5 miles around us. Outside patio was nice but in need of repair, we had brought our own chairs and used those. Bring mosquito spray, the mosquitoes here are out all day/night long. If you want a nice comfortable place to gather this is it. Love the location and would stay here again. The negatives of our stay were few and easily fixed. The good points of this house outweigh the bad. This is exactly the kind of place our family wished we owned. Thanks for sharing with us. Hope to return again next n the near future.

Rad place, nice fire pit. The only thing that was lame was there only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and not nearly as many towels as one group of guys would need. No trash bags either and there was a drawer full of food in the kitchen with expiration dates from the early 2000s ewwwwwww!!! That was pretty gross actually. Like if there's food from 20 years ago in there how clean is everything else? We didn't eat any of it but it was just gross that stuff was even IN the kitchen with the rest of our unspoiled food. Also almost every kitchen utensil had rust on it, charming at first but by the 3rd meal I'm like 'Ooooookay this is annoying now". Ya'll need to do some kitchen cleaning!
Manager response:
