This place is plenty big for bigger groups. Plenty of beds and the kitchen and dining were great for cooking and still having everyone in the room talking. Poker table got some good use and it was awesome that we were able to walk down to the lake from cabin even though fishing wasn't great.

The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you might need to cook. Lots of small appliances!

Good location and short walk to a nice spot on The lake.

Plenty of space!

Solid home in good condition.

Carpets, towels and bedding were dirty! Towels were smelly and need to be washed in bleach. Sheets appeared to be clean, but multiple comforters had stains on top. Throw rugs in main space were dirty/soiled with stains. They need to be carpet cleaned or tossed out! Bath mat was falling apart.

Home furnishing's are old and need replacing. Two couches and throw pillows are old and soiled. They need to be replaced or cleaned. All the beds were very old and terribly uncomfortable- to the point of being concave!! The beds absolutely need to be replaced!!

A few basics were not stocked- laundry soap, flour, oil, sugar, s/p. Not a huge issue, as the store is 5 minutes away.

The personal photos were a bit creepy! There are way too many! They take up an entire wall in the basement. A reduction is personal items might be appreciated by those that come to relax and enjoy their vacation!

This property was a real dissappointment to us. It was definitely the worst vacation home we've ever stayed in. The good news is that it's all easy enough to remedy by updating and deep cleaning! Good luck!
Manager response:
Hi, Tasha! We are so sorry to read this home was a disappointment for you. We are scheduling a carpet clean and will get the comforters laundered. The beds are in good shape; we are sorry to read they did not suit your needs. Thank you!

Great potential, nice area and access to trail and beach. However, this house was dirty and the bedding and towels were all musty smelling. Deck not sturdy, this house just needs some TLC.
Manager response:
Hello Erin, thank you for your feedback. We apologize that the unit was in this condition upon your arrival. We have reached out to local staff to ensure these details are not missed in the future. We have also reached out to the homeowners so that we may look into getting the deck repaired. We do hope that we have another chance in the future to impress you.

I loved how secluded and quiet the cabin was. It felt like everyone kept to themselves and there was a sacred peaceful energy to it all. You have to understand this is a family cabin that seems to have been there for generations, but the landscape and private beach is breathtaking. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

We really enjoyed this home and it was perfect for a large family celebrating two birthdays and an anniversary. Plenty of kitchen equipment and lots of beds and a full bathroom on every floor. Great beach access though the hike back up with loads of beach equipment was grueling after day three. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because there was no guidance in the house about the TV controls or the stove if the propane tank runs out in the middle of baking a cake. We figured the propane out ourselves. Just saying some guidance would have been helpful. Otherwise a great place to stay that I recommend.

This rental was exactly how it was portrayed on the site. It was super convenient to both the lake and the biking trail. There was plenty of room for everyone in our large group to spread out and it worked great for our dog. Kitchen was well stocked and the fans on each level were much appreciated.

It was very cozy feeling, my family and I felt at home there, plenty of room to sleep, loved how every floor had a bathroom, I also loved how there was a kitchen full of every utensil and dish you could think of if you needed to use it. It was definetly perfect for a family of 7 and 3 dogs. Definetly recommend this cabin 👌 not a lot of bugs this time of year also.

We rent a cabin every year around Christmas to spend quality time together. Crown Point Hideaway was an excellent place to make new memories. The house was described accurately on the website. It was stocked with all the necessary items we needed to cook and serve meals. There were plenty of extra blankets to keep us cozy and warm. They weren't joking about needing an AWD or 4 wheel drive to get to the house and in and out of the driveway. Thanks for head's up on that!

We really enjoyed staying at this remote cabin. :Loved the quick access to the beach and biking trail, made for a fun weekend. The house had everything needed, comfortable beds, plenty of kitchen supplies, foosball table, and a cozy fireplace. We ended up bringing some of our own games, which we ended up using a lot as there werent any kids games at the cabin. We weren't able to figure out the cable, which ended up being more of a blessing for us and kept us enjoying other things. We would absolutely return to this place for another stay!

Cabin is great, very spacious and perfect for larger family. Bathrooms could have been more properly stocked as there were no clean towels stocked. Also could use some clutter clean up for outside on the property and deck area clean up and maintenance is needed.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback. We have passed it along to the local manager. We hope we can host you again soon!
