This house was perfect for our extended family getaway. I knew my family would need a "change of scenery / mental health / chance to go maskless outside" break because of the pandemic. Once you turn off the main road, the ride up the driveway feels a bit intimidating, but then it opens up at the final approach to the house. It is quite isolated (which I wanted) and everyone was able to have their own personal space. We did not use the theater, hot tub, or sauna. Inside and out, the house is gorgeous.

Location and view was super. Amenity was great. We had some issues with water and cleaness on first day but property care taker Sam resolved it pretty quickly.

We were so excited about our stay! We were looking forward to this beautiful home and the gorgeous piece of property, including the pond. Upon arriving we realized that the pond really isn’t accessible unless you have hiking boots. Once inside, the house was really warm, about 86°. I called Vacasa and their local representative couldn’t find someone to come out on a Sunday but definitely Monday morning. I stayed home and called the representative at noon to let him know that no one showed up and he let me know that they couldn’t find anyone until Tuesday at noon. The AC person also informed us that the basement, including the movie theater, didn’t have air conditioning. We opened some windows but most didn’t have screens which were necessary because of the bugs. The water was a little sketchy and we weren’t able to figure it out, wish there was some explanation. Sometimes you’d be in the middle of a shower and the water would turn off or you go and take a shower or was a dish and no water would come out of the faucet.
Manager response:
Hi, Jennifer! Thank you for your review. We sincerely apologize for the AC issues you experienced during your stay. Our team attempted to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. This was reported on a Sunday and, unfortunately, the AC service was not open for immediate assistance. The AC has been fixed and is in good working condition. The water issues has been fixed so water pressure has been restored. Thank you.
