This was our first time getting a rental property for a vacation. We wanted something away from it all but not too far away since we have a 2 year old. (She loved this cabin) Its nice and tucked away out far enough to have the feel of being far in the mountains but if you need a grocery store this cabin is 20 minutes from Woodland Park and hour from Colorado Springs. This cabin has everything you need and then some.. Great location, great property. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay. It was as adventurous and wild as we wanted. The cabin is spacious and big. During our stay we got to see plenty of deer within the property. One downfall was the lake near by. Google shows a full lake but when you arrive it is more like a puddle. We ended up adventuring to a different lake for fishing. Overall they stay was fantastic, clean, and outdoorsy.

The cabin was amazing and was perfect for our family of 6. My husband planned this trip to celebrate my 40th Bday and to 4wheel with his new jeep. We had so much fun. The hot tub was a great plus. It was awesome seeing the big star filled sky and having snow fall. The grill didnt have propane but the owner brought a new tank the next day. We loved it so much we wanted to extend our stay but the Coronavirus and stay in laws prevented us from doing so. The negatives were: 1. cabin could have been cleaner ( I dont have high standards but the bathrooms were really bad, hair everywhere) 2. Also we had to carry our own firewood from the beginning (it would be a nice touch having dry firewood to begin the stay).
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback, Cameron! We are thrilled to hear that you loved the hot tub and the stunning panorama from the home. We apologize for the items missed by our housekeepers. We will pass along your suggestion regarding the firewood to the local manager and homeowner. We hope to have a chance to host you again in the future!
