Love the porch. Cozy cabin, has everything you would need.

This home was very charming and VERY clean with the exception of some greasy plates (which guests are responsible for washing dishes). I don't like the late check-in and early checkout and the even earlier (before 8a.m.) taking the garbage out (garbage truck never arrived before 10 a.m. anyway, or any day we were there), maybe because it's winter. We stayed 2 nights, but it's not really worth the money when you check in so late, have an extreme fun day (we went ice fishing), and then have to be out the next morning so darn early. We could have booked an extra day, but nothing else was open in town. Check out shouldn't be before 11 am, check in shouldn't be after 3pm (hotels manage this and even better times) and the garbage before 8a,m, is ridiculous (we didn't know if we could put the garbage out at night ie...animals? And set the thermometer before leaving, do your own dishes is fine with me, but honestly, the rate sounds good, but after paying additional high taxes, fees & insurance and the crummy hours, then it just isn't worth it anymore, we left exhausted. The location is ideal if you don't have to be right on the water but very close. I love that they allow pets, The big porch overlooking the woods is like camping in comfort. They have plenty of dishes, blankets, space, all great if only we had time to relax...if we go this route again we will book 3 nights. Zero complaints about the home itself and GPS took us right to it.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Darla! We are happy to hear that you found the home to be charming and comfortable. Due to COVID-19, we've had to change checkout and check-in times to give our housekeeping staff enough time to do a thorough clean and give the home some rest time between guests. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future!

Nice hideaway, close to Greenville and a short walk to Moosehead Lake. We had a deer walk past the front door, in the morning. The cabin is rustic, and what you would want for a Maine getaway.

Loved the cabin! Will be back, we cooked and cleaned only problem was drunk tourist in area.
Manager response:
We are so glad you had a great time, Frank! We are sorry that the tourists in the area were a bit disruptive, but we hope that you still had a relaxing time. We hope to host you again soon!

It was a nice little cabin with basic utensils, plates, pans and toiletries. It had a monitor heater that kept the place warm without having to use the wood stove. The place was clean but rustic. The kids loved the bunk beds. We spent Christmas there and enjoyed snowshoeing on the snowmobile trail right behind the camp down to the lake. We also skied at Squaw Mountain, snowmobiled and went sledding. It was a fun winter vacation. Everyone in Greenville village was nice and there is a great drug store and cute restaurants downtown. We will definitely be back!
