We loved our stay here! Our small family (myself, husband, 4 year old) stayed here for almost a week while our house was under renovation. We also worked remotely here so we spent a lot of time here. It was even better than the pictures. There was even a view I’d the water from where we sat on our laptops. We were also within a block or two from the middle of Langley. The cottage was so cozy with its freestanding propane fireplace, claw foot tub, bead board walls. The kitchen was fully stocked and had a newer washer and dryer. Very useful for our extended stay. The stairs were very steep and rickety, so it was a bit of a worry factor for my during our stay- especially with a toddler. A baby gate would be helpful to prevent falls. But overall we loved our stay and were sad to leave!
Manager response:
Hi, Lindsey! The stairs are safe and secure though they do have more of a ladder feel to them rather than an actual staircase. We are glad to see you enjoyed your stay!

I'm going to be so sad to leave this adorable little cottage. It's comfortable, clean, and has the most beautiful views of the water. A perfect way to spend the week.

It may not be the best place for a very tall person. I'm very short, so this place was everything I could ever want. I could see a very tall person being less comfortable.

Thank you for a great place to stay in Langley.

It was a super cute old house, clean, close to town, and loved that it accommodated our pup. That being said (like other reviews have mentioned) we couldn’t get ahold of the host! They provided about 1/3 a roll of toilet paper for a 3 night stay...sent the host an email the first night and tried texting the next morning...crickets. Ended up going to the store and buying my own, which while not the end of the world, was annoying.
Manager response:
Hannah, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your stay. We apologize that your experience in our home was not the vacation for which you had planned and for which we strive to provide our guests. Please know that the comfort and satisfaction of our guests is our priority and the experience you had is certainly not commonplace, nor is it indicative of our level of service. Thank you!

Cute cottage, lovely to be able to just walk to down town. The bed is comfortable. We would keep this in mind for any future stays.

We stayed here for 6 nights and probably would have stayed for longer! The cottage was so cute, great heat, lots of pots and pans, screened windows, fantastic location, just to name a few. The bed and pillows were probably the only thing that deterred ya from staying extra nights. They were so uncomfortable and only two pillows in the whole house. Also, it should be noted in the description that the stairs to the bedroom are extremely hard to get down because they are very steep. I actually fell coming down them once and it was not pretty. Overall, a great stay and a great little cottage.
Manager response:
We appreciate your feedback and will inspect the pillows and mattresses. Thank you for staying with us!

This petit cottage was the perfect holiday escape for my husband and I. We loved being walking distance to the little Langley downtown, and everything else was just a short drive away. The place was clean, cozy, and charming. Highly recommend.
