Great setting, quite, Great views

This is truly a beautiful accommodation, well appointed and well equipped. We settled in and went to connect to WiFi and couldn’t connect so we made a call. The next thing was the hot tub which hadn’t been serviced and wouldn’t turn on. When Sean came to get the WiFi going I directed him to the hot tub. He made a call and advised they would be there to service in the morning. He also needed to go and get us some bedding as there were no blankets for the hide a bed. The table and chairs were wobbly and asked him to bring some tools to tighten the screws which never happened. The hot tub service co arrived in the morning and advised that they needed parts and never got back to repair prior to us leaving. The kitchen tap was leaking but managed to fix that myself. I checked the propane tank for the grill to make sure there was propane as we had some family coming for dinner which was filled but never checked to make sure the grill was working. Fortunately I had my portable grill with me because we never got the grill to work. The short walk to the river bank was a challenge with dodging sprinklers and waking up early in the morning to a worker loading equipment a short distance away from the cabin So, though it could have been a great 2 day stay we were faced with many challenges.

Loved being in the middle of the orchard. Only real complaint is that the windmill starts at 4 am and doesn’t stop until 8 am. It is right outside near the bedroom and sounds like a helicopter is above you. If I would have known I would have brought a proper noise machine to try and combat it.

Location. In the middle of an orchard, and 5 min walk to the Columbia river, with a 19 mile walking/biking path. Bring your bike and your kayak too! New, clean house with a comfy bed, washer & dryer, cool shower.

We had a great stay. The owner was lovely. The unit was cute and in a beautiful spot. Unfortunately, the hot tub was freezing when we arrived, but they got someone out pretty quickly to get it up and running. My only complaint is about Vacasa customer service. They were pretty poor communicators.

We had a nice time. This house is so cool! The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking which we loved. The bed is pretty soft which was a little rough for us but we loved our stay so much!

Nice setting and everything looks good but after 10 minutes you can tell it's not.

First the ice maker in the fridge was broken. At least tell us so we can pick some up on the way.

Then check out the hot tub which was cold and dirty. The home made styrofoam cover that is spray painted is sticking to the rim of the hot tub. And there was a bunch of sand in the bottom. We can deal with that. Turn up the temperature and wait. And wait. And wait. Well, no hot tub the first night.

And then there's the rodent in the attic. Figured it was making a nest in the attic above the TV but was gathering material from above the bed. ALL NIGHT. Got maybe 2 hours of sleep.

After 3 hours of waiting for the property manager to contact us that morning he finally calls. We tell him we're leaving because we don't want to hang out in the house while some contractor is cutting the ceiling open trying to get it out of there.

And finally we get to Vacasa. Told them we would like at least a partial refund since our weekend was pretty much ruined. I have called and emailed them numerous times. Sent the property manager pictures of the rodent droppings and videos of the chewing noises. All I get is that they are looking into it and will get back to me. Over and over.

Renter beware. It's a pretty nice place but if you have a problem your probably screwed.
Manager response:
Hi, Casey! Thank you for telling us about your stay with us. The ice maker is working, the hot tub is regularly serviced, and the rodent issue has been addressed. We apologize if we were slow to respond to your requests and do hope to have a chance to impress you in the future!

Contemporary decor, great kitchen for small space, wonderful shower (large tiled with window) and access to washer and dryer in large walk in closet. Very nice sitting area. Easy access with code for lock on front door. Enjoyed walking down to river (Peach Beach) to spend time in sun and cool off in water.
Bought food for BBQ, but propane tank was empty. Called Vacasa and was told someone would call us in 30-60 minutes, but call never came. Next day, a gentleman (possibly owner?) walked by the cottage and we told him about the propane and the tank was replaced within hours.
Manager response:
Teri, We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Apricot Ridge. We apologize for the lack of customer service after your call for assistance. We strive to respond to all our guests and are sorry you did not receive the callback. We are happy you saw a staff member and were able to have the tank replaced. We look forward to having you return as our guest! Thank you.

We had a great time at the home. Perfect little cabin and loved the private access to swim at Peach Beach. We also loved the hot tub. Owners were attentive when we had an issue with no chlorine in the hot tub and responsive and got someone out to remedy the situation within a couple of hours. We brought our two kids and dog and it was the perfect size for all of us. A beautiful home and we will be back!

This home is in a lovely setting. The orchard surrounding is amazing and the closeness to the apple loop trail and beach are great. Although while at peach beach we were approached by the owner of the beach who politely told us it was her private property and was quite confused why we were there and didn’t seem to know her neighbors are advertising her beach on their VBRO listing. Would recommend better communication there. Bed was terribly uncomfortable and sinks heavily in the middle. Last issue was that the place was not cleaned that well. A baggy of cut apples left in the refrigerator, long dark hair found in the freezer and fridge, we brought our dog and while looking for a toy under the futon saw many dead bugs. Bugs do get in the house easily, it is summer in eastern wa, but I would have expected that to be cleaned upon arrival. With a better bed and cleaning this place would be 4 stars.
Manager response:
Amanda, thank you so much for staying with us and providing your feedback. We are so sorry for the details that were amiss. Please know this is not our standard grade of cleanliness and presentation. The comfort and satisfaction of our guests is our priority and the experience you had is certainly not commonplace. We are so glad you enjoyed your time in our home and we hope to get another chance to impress you in the future!

Cute little house with most of what you'd need for a getaway. Short enough walk to a paved walking trail along the river, but everything else requires a drive. Grateful for the A/C since it was in the 90s while we were there.

Had a great stay at Apricot Ridge. The property is very private with a beautiful cherry and apricot orchard to look out onto. The house was clean and comfortable.

Loved our stay at Apricot Ridge. Private, clean and a beautiful setting. We loved the proximity to the bike path and rode our bikes everyday. Definitely hope to stay here again sometime.

We loved the nice interior of the cottage and waking up to the gorgeous orchards and fresh air. It was a one-of-a-kind stay.

The private, quiet location in the vineyard was super relaxing and perfect for our family. The house was very clean and well equipped, cool/unique floor plan made it a lot of fun. Would definitely go back!

Originally booked for 3days and 2nights, ended up having to leave within less than 24hrs due to internet not working. Came here to work remotely while relaxing with family and couldn’t do either. After leaving only received a partial refund.. so ended up paying 650 for less than 24hours of stress and agro and long drive that was supposed to be a relaxing getaway. I will say the property manager was courtesy and did try but nonetheless it was something that should have been verified to be working prior to publicizing it as an amenity.
Manager response:
Thank you for the review, Mohammed. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced, and we appreciate you allowing us to refund you for the inconvenience. While the internet is an offered amenity, a public utility pole matter occurred that was out of our control. We hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future!
