We rented both the top and bottom unit of this vacation rental and we loved our stay here!
This home is very clean and charming, and it is so well stocked. It has everything you would need in the kitchen, and the linen closet has many bath and beach towels. There are great board games for families, as well as beach chairs, lantern, bug spray, just about everything you could think of. The owner/manager is very thoughtful, leaving mini-sized dishwashing soap, sponges and laundry pods.
The location is the best! We walked to Nauset Beach several times per day, and it took less than 5 minutes from the front door to the sand.
We loved our time here and plan to return next year!
We loved the location - easy 5 minute walk to and from the beach!
Not fancy - Clean, quiet, comfortable accommodations - funishings are little worn. Very nice updated bathroom.
Perfect location - just 5 min walk to Nauset beach. Accommodations are as advertised. Kitchen was well equipped and beds comfortable.
Very nice clean cottage just a 5 min walk to Nauset Beach. Very comfortable for a family of four. My kids loved the cottage and Nauset Beach which has awesome waves. Only minor improvement is needed in the twin beds for more comfort; but overall a great find in Orleans.
This house is just a short walk to Nauset Beach; close enough to hear the crashing waves. Nicely decorated in a nautical theme. Very big kitchen and spacious living room. Newly renovated bathroom. A great value compared to some other homes or hotels. Would definitely come back.
Just a walk away from Nausset Beach.
Convenient to Orleans and other locations.
Nicely decorated with obvious thought to the beach feeling.
Great sized kitchen with everything well stocked!!
Exceptional location -truly a 7 minute walk to Nauset. Everything we needed (&more) was supplied & in great, clean condition. We’ll be back!!
We were very pleased with staying at this house. For not much more than a cheap hotel (and less than some hotels) you get a two-bedroom house that can sleep 6. Yes, it is the bottom floor of a duplex, but you enter through the rear and the upper level enters through the front so there is no shared entrance. The furnishings are dated, but clean. They have updated the bathroom. There are games to play and DVD's to watch on rainy days. And for those gorgeous days, the beach is in walking distance. You can see the ocean from the main road. Very quiet neighborhood and a relaxing atmosphere. Only 5-10 minutes from the highway. Check in and check out was supplied via email and easy to follow. We stayed in October 2017 and would definitely stay here again.
Awesome location in my favorite part of the Cape. Nauset beach is by far the cleanest and family friendly beach I've seen to date. It was literally less than driving a golf ball to the shoreline of Nauset! The kids and wife loved it and I would definitely come back over and over! Best bang for your buck!
Great location! Had a wonderful time here!
Great location very close to the beaches shops and other things to do in Orleans beach gets a little crowded but other than that it was outstanding
Just like staying at grandma's house!
A beautiful quiet vacation spot.
Nice location Very close to beach
Great place to stay on the Cape, even off-season.
We liked the convience to the beach! Only 5min walk! The house was very spacious, playground near by as well!
However we didn't cable, Internet and DVR our entire stay!
Amenities were great and very clean location. Convenient to the beach. We were able to park, unload and then bike back so day fee didn't need to be paid. Clean beach and nice staff. Able to enjoy the beach early and at night after 4:30 and there were no charges.
Not a perfect property but the location and the cleanliness was very good. We found it comfortable and convenient to many places around the Cape.
The place was just okay, very out dated and musty. The neighborhood was nice and the beach was within walking distance, Would I go back to this place, NO.
I took a road trip with my boyfriend and another couple, and we stayed here while visiting Cape Cod. Vacasa made everything really simple, so after our long drive, we were able to get right into the house without having to call anyone.
We unloaded our cooler into the huge, sunny kitchen/dining room, claimed our bedrooms, and started poking around. We found a big lobster pot, and had the most amazing homemade seafood feast. The grill turned out to be very dirty, so it took us a long time to clean, but the rest of the apartment was tidy, and all the rooms were spacious. The bathroom may be due for a renovation, but everything else was appropriately rustic and cozy.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It has rooms that allow privacy, it's a 5min walk from one of the Cape's most popular beaches, it's quiet, quaint, and just under an hour drive to the nightlife in Provincetown.
Thanks to the owners for sharing your home with us this summer!
This vacation rental was exactly what we were looking for. With two independent teenagers this unit was perfect for them to walk back and forth to the beach and be on their own. The location was excellent for shopping, traveling to surrounding towns and the National Seashore. We would rent again.
We rented this house because of the close proximity to the beach, and found it just as we had hoped! We also appreciated the fact that it was tidied and clean when we arrived. However, the mattresses on two twin beds were either too old, damaged, or either way, utterly unacceptable! We dreaded going to sleep and the only thing worse was waking up in the morning, with pains all over the body, from the neck down to the legs. Because of it, we left on Thursday morning, more than a day earlier than our rental allowance. That was unfortunate and the only drawback on what would have otherwise been a pleasant experience.
Thanks for sharing your review with us. I am sorry to hear that you didn't find the two twin mattresses to be comfortable. We will have our property manager look into the opportunity of replacing them. Your feedback is very appreciated as it is crucial to ensuring a perfect experience for future guests. I am glad that you found the rest of this Cape Cod gem to your liking!
Overall experience for the weekend was nice. The place had cable and internet connection which is key since cell reception was horrible. The passcode and connection information wasn't available in the unit but I called customer service and they were SUPER helpful and even texted me with the log-in information since the cell reception was bad. It's key that the staff was available to pick up the phone since I called after 10pm.
The place is a little dated and could use upgrades but for the location, I would stay the weekend. A week here might be too long since the beds aren't that comfortable and the place felt musty but I think that's due to the humidity near the beach.
Vacasa is a good service organization and I would use them again since I was able to find a place for a reasonable price last minute. Weekend rentals over the summer are tough so it was great!
Orleans is one of the nicest locations we visited in Cape cod. This property located a short walk from the beach is great for anyone who wants to relax and unwind and not even drive to the beach. You can walk for long distances by the sea.
