Come visit this beautiful, family-friendly home located right in the Arnold Bay area of Lake Champlain. In the winter, you can still see the beauty of the lake and forest with the enclosed patio while summer will lend itself to walking down closer to the lake for a close-up view while you enjoy your morning coffee. The fireplace will keep you warm while the ample windows throughout not only let in a lot of light but never let you lose sight of nature's beauty. This ground floor getaway offers a secluded location, which is perfect for a relaxing vacation. Lindsay V. Feb 2020
The home was wonderful, with gorgeous views of the lake from the living room, master bedroom and one other bedroom. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, and the home was perfectly cleaned for our stay. We were there on a typical night in February for northern VT - it was negative 4 degrees overnight however the home was well heated, and we did not suffer from the cold at all. The fireplace added additional ambiance and warmth. Sunset was beautiful, and the photos of the view from the master don't do it justice. At night, if you turn off all the lights in the master, you can see every star in the sky while lying in bed. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware, and there was both a Keurig and regular style coffee maker for whichever kind of coffee you prefer. The mattresses were comfy, and the living room sofa the kind that you sit in in front of the fireplace and don't ever want to leave. The house is nice and set back so is quiet and secluded, extremely tranquil for any time of year. With location just 45 minutes from Burlington, there is also accessibility to all Burlington has to offer if you want to venture in for the day. Or, just head into the small town of Vergennes for dinner at one of the few restaurants there, and then stop off at Dakin farm for fresh jams, creamed honey, and maple syrup and just keep it local. Will definitely be back!
