This location is superb as its only about 50 yards to the top ski lifts. Sugar Mountain Resort is right up the street where you can grab some hot chocolate at the ski lodge, try out the skating rink, and even golf (weather permitting). A short car ride can find you panning for gems at the Foggy Mountain Gem Mine, ziplining the treetops at Hawksnest Ziplining, or walking across the Mile High Swinging Bridge to catch breathtaking views of the mountains. There are plenty of great eateries around as well for a night out.
