Very comfortable. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed. Pretty area to walk around. Saw 5 deer from the living room. 2 adults, 7 kids and we had more than enough space. Beds were very comfy.

The home was just as advertised and suited our needs well. It was clean and well appointed. The check in and out process was very easy. Should the need arise we would definitely lease it again.

Switching Gears is the perfect vacation cottage! When our rental week was over we were all sad to leave. It's very pretty inside and out, spotless and had everything we needed. The 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms were just right for our family. I think our favorite spot was the lovely screened-in porch which we used morning, noon and night! The bunk bed was especially fun for our 4 1/2 year old grandson who never slept in one before. But his favorite place was playing in the outdoor shower stall! His imagination provided hours of fun and he never even turned on the water! He pretended it was a train, a police station and even his own house! We loved the location of the cottage, too. It was a short walk to Douglas Beach, about a mile to downtown Douglas and St. Peter's Catholic Church was less than a mile away so my husband walked to mass everyday. Saugatuck was a very short drive for shopping and dining. We would definitely recommend this cottage to our friends and hopefully will come back ourselves one day.
